Oh, wow. That is even better.

That was such a smart shot from Malan. He got in a good position then at the last moment opened up to cut it through the gap.
Target 142
A bit of width from Shaheen Afridi and Dawid Malan crunches it to the cover boundary.
Gorgeous.

Bowled him! What on earth is Crawley doing? Oh, it's a free hit. I didn't know.
Target 142
Bowled him! Don't worry, it's a free hit! Hasan Ali oversteps, and Zak Crawley tries to pulverises the free hit through the covers, but is bowled.
Oh, Zak. That is beautiful. He ends the over with a gorgeous cover drive for four. Frame that.
Here's the first boundary from England's innings...

Oh that is ever so close to the off-stump! That's just about a good leave. Shaheen is a fabulous bowler.
Target 142
Zak Crawley was one of the players that got pulled out of a County Championship game to be involved in this. He was out for a duck in the first innings of that game, so was probably relieved!
He's almost gone first ball here, as he looks to leave Shaheen Afridi, and the ball misses off stump by a couple of inches at best.
He's off and running with a nudge into the on side.
Another debutant, Zak Crawley, is in.
The Kent batter made 256 against Pakistan in a Test last summer.
Vic Marks
Former England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
That's the downside of being a naturally aggressive batsman. Your slip cordon can afford to be far back because he goes so hard at the ball, it's going to always carry.
Salt c Maqsood b Shaheen 5 (Eng 22-1)
Shaheen has his arms outstretched!
Phil Salt was looking to be positive and play his natural attacking game, but he's late on a drive, and a thick edge is well pounced by Sohaib Maqsood, above his head, at first slip.

Target 142
A piece of fortune for Dawid Malan, as he's too late on a drive, and an inside edge just misses the base of the stumps.
That's lovely! Phil Salt stands tall, and drives on the up, for his first boundary in international cricket. That's a nice way to bring it up.

I wonder how many players in the ‘A’ team are watching this with some concern about their place in the squad…
Steve J, Bath
Target 142
Oh, edge! But well short of slip!
Phil Salt has a bit of a push at Shaheen Afridi, but he plays it with soft hands, and it drops at least four yards of Shadab Khan at slip.
We're back under way, and Babar Azam is suspiciously looking up at the sky. He's not happy.
We've got a delay here. A bird may have just done his business on Babar Azam's neck/shoulder.
He's being cleaned down by a team mate.

That's superb from Rizwan - I reckon he would've saved Denmark's free-kick last night.
Mohammad Rizwan is a superb wicketkeeper.
Shaheen Afridi hasn't got his line right yet, twice straying massively down the leg side, and at full stretch Rizwan pouches both.

Good to see Pakistan batting like the England Test team.
