With all the debutants the ritual of the pre-match cap presentation in the England huddle took longer than an over of spin.

There was just the one cap handed out today, by Ashley Giles to Ben Stokes for his 100th ODI cap.

From that I'd assume there are no more debutants coming in to the England side today. Tom Helm, Will Jacks, Dan Lawrence and David Payne will have to wait.

So what happened in the first ODI?

After losing two wickets from the first three balls of the match, the writing was pretty much on the wall for Pakistan.

Saqib Mahmood was the start of the show as England thrashed the tourists by nine wickets...

Ben Stokes will be as proud as you can be. When you get the 100th cap you look back.

I remember Ben walking into the changing room, and how competitive he was. What a sensational player he has been for England.

There is a cap presentation going on out in the middle led by England managing director Ashley Giles.

It's not for a debutant, though, it's to mark Benjamin Andrew Stokes' 100th one-day-international.

It's not particularly heavy rain but this persistent drizzle has been around for an hour or so. It may get heavier but is meant to improve later on.

There is some light rain out there at the moment. Some heavier stuff is expected shortly but it is expected to clear.

The latest we could start a 20-over game is 16:32 BST.

I have high hopes it won't come to that.
