  1. Eng 90-2published at 11 overs

    Target 332

It's a boundary an over at the moment and if that continues England will get pretty close to this total.

I'm not the short ball is the best way to go when the ball is still hard. It just sits up for James Vince to crack to the boundary. He's up to 14.

What a Powerplay this has been for England. If you want to play aggressive cricket, that's how you just play. It doesn't matter if you lose two wickets.

Pakistan need to calm down, bowl straight or take the pace off. Just try to do something different.

  4. Eng 84-2published at 10 overs

    Target 332

Pakistan just can't get out of an over at the moment.

After conceding just a single from the first five balls, Shaheen goes short, and Zak Crawley pulls to the boundary.

That's the end of the powerplay. Honours even? England's? Tough to call.

    Shaheen Afridi is back on.

That was just too short and too wide. Pakistan also need to take the pace off.

  7. Eng 79-2published at 9 overs

    Target 332

Zak Crawley is a serious timer of the cricket ball. He just climbs into a cut, doesn't hit it too hard, but it races away and gives Shaheen Afridi absolutely no chance at third.

    He's up to 30 off 24 balls.

This looks like a great surface, it's got better as the day has gone on.

  9. Eng 72-2published at 8 overs

    Target 332

Pakistan's fielding has been questionable so far. It's poor again as a misfield in the covers allows James Vince to pick up a couple.

Hassan Ali is struggling with his groin here. He's stretched it out three or four times on the way back to his mark.

That won't help his mood. It's short, and Zak Crawley just dispatches it to the mid-wicket boundary. Don't bowl there to Zak.

This innings is like the 15th round in Rocky where they're just slugging at each other.

  11. Eng 62-2published at 7 overs

    Target 332

Daggers knows what he's talking about.

Zak Crawley plays the most elegant straight drive - his second of the innings - before timing the absolute pants off a flick through square to end the over.

England have hit 10 boundaries already.

We have two very elegant stroke makers at the crease now.

  13. Eng 54-2published at 6.2 overs

James Vince is off the mark first ball.

A brilliant change in bowling. We really enjoyed Phil Salt but that's the way he plays, he'll give you a chance.

    Salt c Fakhar b Rauf 37 (Eng 53-2)

    Rauf strikes first ball!

Alongside the change in bowler, there was a change in field from Pakistan, with a mid-wicket added.

Phil Salt continues to attack, not even taking a couple of balls to look at Rauf, and clips it straight to the fielder at mid-wicket.

Whether it's T20 or 50-over, Phil Salt's job is to get the team off to a flier. It's what he does.

Phil Salt has hit Shaheen Afridi out the attack.

    Haris Rauf is on.

This has been a chaotic six overs.

  20. Eng 53-1published at 6 overs

    Target 332

An almost sedate over with just four coming from it.

The required run rate is 6.36 by the way. That is fine by modern standards.
