That was a poor shot. He didn't have to play at it and he got open chested, feeling at the ball. He's given one away. But well done to Saqib, he's struggled with his line a little bit but that one was perfect.

    Fakhar c Crawley b Mahmood 6 (Pak 21-1)

    Excellent catch!

Fakhar Zaman tries to drive Saqib Mahmood away, but the ball gets a little bit big on him, and a thick edge is really well caught by Zak Crawley at second slip.

The ball went fast to him, and above his head, but he holds on.

    England have another powerplay wicket.

Relax, Fakhar. Stay at your end until the ball goes past the fielder.

  4. Pak 19-0published at 4.1 overs

Fakhar Zaman is a proper run out candidate.

He on drives to Ben Stokes, and gets half way down the track before Imam sends his back again.

Stokes didn't pick up cleanly, though, or he might have been in trouble.

It was a gentle delivery from Gregory on the leg side. If it's full, Imam will be all over it.

  6. Pak 19-0published at 4 overs

A floaty, leg-stump line from Lewis Gregory is punished as Imam-ul-Haq picks up his third boundary with another flick through mid-wicket.

There doesn't appear to be any demons in this pitch so far.

There's a drummer somewhere in the crowd today. They're trying to the Pakistan chants going. As ever the Barmy Army trumpeter is here too.

  8. Pak 13-0published at 3 overs

    Clumsy from Matt Parkinson.

Fakhar Zaman gets a thick edge on a drive, and Parkinson, down at third, makes a mess of the fielding.

He misses the ball with his initial flick back, which means the ball rolls along his leg, and when he goes to scoop it back the second time his foot is touching the sponge.

Fakhar is not the best runner, you have to keep your eye on him.

  10. Pak 9-0published at 2.1 overs

Fakhar Zaman nudges into the on side, and immediately sets off, looking for the single.

He gets about four or five paces down before Imam-ul-Haq sends his back.

He ran straight down the middle of the pitch too.

    Azhar Mahmood
Former Pakistan all-rounder on Test Match Special

Fakhar Zaman played really well in the first game but England bowled well to him in the second game. And Babar Azam needs to bat out of his skin today, Pakistan rely on him heavily.

  12. Pak 9-0published at 2 overs

Good, tight first over from Lewis Gregory with just a single to Fakhar Zaman.

There were early signs of Imam-ul-Haq falling over there. He's really struggled in this series.

It was hitting middle, about inch or so down. It was plumb. I wonder if they thought the bat got in the way but he hadn't got out of the crease and that negated the height.

  14. Postpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 13 July 2021

It was hitting the top of middle stump...

Ben Stokes hasn't got much wrong in this series, but, that was a mistake.

I would have gone for the review. Clipping, maybe?

  16. Pak 8-0published at 1 over

Imam picks up second boundary, with another flick, through mid-wicket this time.

Saqib Mahmood wants to review an lbw shout to end the over, but Ben Stokes says no. I wonder if he thought there was an inside edge, but the bat hit the pad, before the ball hit the stumps. It looked close.

That's Imam's highest score of the ODI series so far. It was a gift but the shot sounded so crisp.

  18. Pak 4-0published at 0.3 overs

Imam-ul-Haq, who has scores of 0 and 1 in this series, is off and running with a flick to the square leg boundary.

Saqib Mahmood slides one across him next up, before squaring him up.

It's dying through to John Simpson a bit so far.

The crowd began that period of applause in their seats but by the end pretty much everyone was standing. A really touching moment.

After a fantastic 45-second applause for Bob Willis, Saqib Mahmood is going to take the new ball again.
