  2. Ind 211-2published at 67.5 overs

Ollie Robinson climbs up off the turf, with the kind of look on his face as if he's been abruptly awoken following a lengthy doze on the beach, after he collapses following a ball angled on to Virat Kohli's legs. The India captain works it away for a single to keep the strike.

Virat Kohli looks like a man on a mission. He looks determined and is letting everything go by that he can.

  4. Ind 210-2published at 67,2 overs

Ollie Robinson with a loosener and Virat Kohli confidently, almost exaggerating, strides forward to deliciously strike it through the covers and to the fence for four.

This is a wonderful time to bat with the sun coming out and the pitch is really good to bat on. I wonder if Virat Kohli is wondering about whether he should have played Ravichandran Ashwin now.

  7. Ind 206-2published at 67.0 overs

Sam Curran ends his over by beating the bat.

Ollie Robinson limbering up to take over from Mark Wood.

It is a really good ploy for Sam Curran to come round the wicket. The angle and the slope will mean you do almost have to play at every delivery.

  9. Ind 206-2published at 66.4 overs

Sam Curran round the wicket to KL Rahul, who carefully pushes the fourth ball of the over for a couple through the point region. He is 86 not out now.

  11. Ind 204-2published at 66.0 overs

The sun's out, the pitch looks flat, the ball's not really swinging, England's attack looks blunt. Where's the next wicket coming from?

One run taken by KL Rahul off Mark Wood's over.

England are telegraphing what they are going to do. If there is a slip there as well then you have that doubt in your mind. It is interesting.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are not impulsive pullers either.

  14. Ind 203-2published at 64.3 overs

England with a half-hearted appeal when Sam Curran gets one past KL Rahul's outside edge, but nobody seriously thought there was any bat involved.

This is turning into a loooooong session for England.

England haven't bowled badly today - and Joe Root has rotated his bowlers. But you've got to give credit to the India batsmen.

The electronic advertising boards just flashed up 300. The opposite of wishful thinking.

  19. Ind 200-2published at 63.3 overs

India move up to 200 after Mark Wood is steered through mid-wicket by Virat Kohli for a couple. The tourists ticking the scoreboard along nicely.

Four of that double century of runs came courtesy of this delicious drive from KL Rahul, who is 82 not out.

  20. Ind 197-2published at 63.0 overs

Sam Curran has his hands on his hips after an over of toil. He sets up KL Rahul with two dots but the opener pulls out of a shot to a ball on a tempting line and length. India still fairly watchful as they close in on the 200 mark.
