India's tail could be exposed now, but we probably said that Lord's. England have an opportunity, and opportunities to get ahead, early in a Test, don't come around too often. It is a big opportunity.
Ravindra Jadeja is the new man in. India in desperate need of a partnership. Yes, it's swinging, but this does not look like a 58-5 type of wicket.
Robinson, meanwhile, has 2-14 from his eight overs.

It is a poor shot, you have to say that. It was a half-hearted flirt. Rishabh Pant didn't look to hit it for four, he just hung his bat out.
It is reward for Ollie Robinson. He wasn't at his best in his first spell, but he has been much better in this spell.

It is not a great shot by Rishabh Pant. It is another one where you ask 'did they need to play at it?'. It is the way that Pant bats though.
Pant c Buttler b Robinson 2 (Ind 58-5)
Another nick. Another caught behind.
Rishabh Pant did not need to play at this at all. It's wide outside the off stump and the batsman, playing away from his body, edges it straight into the hands of Jos Buttler.
The England 'keeper has caught all five wickets today.

Craig Overton did really well there to realise the situation and throw himself on the floor. It was a good throw from Jos Buttler - I reckon it was hitting the stumps.

Rishabh Pant blocked off the throw from Jos Buttler there, not deliberately. Rohit Sharma had no idea where the ball went.
Rishabh Pant! This is not what your team needs. Rohit prods at the ball, it goes off the inside edge and trickling behind him and Pant is already halfway down the wicket.
Buttler, from behind the stumps, has a shy at the stumps but Pant, quite cleverly, gets his body in the way as he scrambles back.
There was never a run on.

Phil Wiseman: I missed "THAT" Stokes innings because I took the cheap back route 6 hour minibus ride to Machu Picchu and had no signal. We left Cusco as Leach came in, and celebrated wildly as we finally got news on a bridge over the Urubamba River. Our gasps echoed round the Andes.
Let's hear more of those Headingley '19 tales...

Rishabh Pant has got away with that. If Rory Burns had been at gully he would have taken that.
It is a half-life, but it is the way that Pant plays. We accept that now.
Oof! Pant drives at a wide delivery and thick outside edge slices the ball towards backward point. The ball falls short of a diving Rory Burns, the fielder doing well to stop the ball.
There's an appeal for lbw from Robinson, the ball hitting Pant well high on the back leg.

He probably just broke a finger nail. You know what these Yorkshiremen are like...

From looking through my binoculars it doesn't look like Joe Root is wearing any bandages or anything.
Andrew, maybe it was all down to you? I forbid you from watching any more of this series. Or any England game ever again.
Pant is not one to stay still at the crease, dashing down the wicket to take a single.
Overton finds good bounce as Rohit flirts outside the off stump.

Andrew James: I missed the World Cup final AND that Stokes innings as I was driving home from nights out in London. Never felt more resentment towards the capital than that I did at the end of that summer. Two "where were you" moments, and I missed them both!
Exactly, Mark!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is disgusted by that.
It will be Craig Overton, not Anderson, to bowl the first full over after lunch.

It has been a terrific fightback from England after they were swept aside at Lord's.
