I watched on an iPhone on a beach in France. Started on my own, ended up with 10 Brits, around my phone, and well positioned parasols to keep the pesky sun from causing a glare!

    Short, wide and four more.

Haseeb Hameed square cuts to the boundary again, and he's up to 32.

It is a half-century stand too, in Hameed's first innings alongside Rory Burns. A confidence booster.

I look forward to seeing the picture James.

If England make it to 79 without losing a wicket, I'll get Burns tattooed on my forehead.

Rory Burns picks up a couple more with a flick off his hips through square leg, before a semi-appeal for a caught behind. It came off Burns' thigh pad, though.

Decided to teach my daughters how to score on the day Stokes won the game at Headingley. They have been hooked on cricket since.

When does Kohli start to get twitchy? It's hard to see where a wicket coming from at the moment.

Tidy enough, if not threatening, from Mohammed Siraj. Rory Burns works him off his hip for a single to move to 15.

I can hear "down in one" being sung from the Western Terrace. Things are starting to get lively.

Listened to the Stokes innings whilst at Her Majesty's Pleasure. The landing went mental when the winning runs was scored.

It is. Mohammed Siraj replaces Mohammed Shami.

    India need a breakthrough.

Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed have continued to build nicely since tea.

Tighter from Ishant Sharma to end the over.

It is surely time for Mohammed Siraj...

    Four more!

This is dreadful from Ishant Sharma, to be honest.

It is short and wide again - so wide that Haseeb Hameed has to stretch for it - and gets enough bat on it to force it behind backward point and away to the boundary.

A positive from England's point of view is that had that ball been bowled to Dom Sibley, it would probably have been left alone. But Hameed is confident in playing that cut shot.

    Thump!

Short and wide from the returning Ishant Sharma and Haseeb Hameed whacks him to the point boundary.

That is Hameed's fourth boundary. He's got a nice balance between defence, attack and scoring here.

When does Virat Kohli bring Siraj on for a bowl? He does leak runs, but India clearly need wickets.

That was the sort of ball India's batsmen were getting themselves out to this morning. There's been a couple of loose shots from these two in the past few overs, they just need to concentrate now.

    Brilliant over from Mohammed Shami.

He beats Rory Burns, as he looks to drive, before beating the edge with one that just goes on straight, as Burns looks to defend.

An inside edge then falls short of the cordon, before Burns is hit on the thigh pad to end the over.

England haven't won the battle yet.
