There has been a lot of talk about England's batting - and batting under pressure. This has been the least pressure they have been under.

The Western Terrace are just starting to warm up after tea. They are into a rendition of Barmy Army.
I've been to Headingley a few times, and one vivid memory was a guy holding up a cooked chicken signing "I've got a whole chicken in my hand" to the tune of the school song "I've got the whole world in my hand".
It was still early afternoon at that point.
It will be Mohammed Shami - who bowled a maiden in his only over before tea - from the other end.

Haseeb Hameed has really worked on putting pressure back on the bowler. He has always had a very solid defence, but now he has more options for when the bowler gives him one that he feels he can hit.

Better from Jasprit Bumrah. He zones in on Haseeb Hameed's stumps with the final three deliveries of the over, but the right-hander is solidly in behind both.
There has been no movement for India so far.
Haseeb Hameed is able to leave the first three balls after tea.
Make him play...
The players are back out in the middle
Haseeb Hammed is taking his guard again, scratching away at the crease.
It'll be Jasprit Bumrah first up with the ball. India were pretty poor with the ball before tea.
I imagine quite a few of you are going to want to watch these later...

England have safely negotiated seven overs to reach 21-0 - a deficit of just 57 - at tea.
Bat sensibly in this evening session and England could be in a very solid position come close at 18:30 BST. There are still 40 overs left in the day, so we'll be playing the extra half hour without doubt.
In between all that chaos there was time for Sam Curran to pick up two in two balls too, as he had Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah lbw.
It was then the turn of Craig Overton - who came into the team for this Test in place of the injured Mark Wood.
He dismissed Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami in successive balls, before having Mohammed Siraj caught at slip to wrap up the innings.
Ollie Robinson wasn't at his best with the new ball today, giving the Indian's too many leave balls, but he came back well to take a crucial wicket on the stroke of lunch, before getting dangerman Rishabh Pant shortly after the break.
We've already shown you the wickets as they happened - or in collapse form - but let's take a bowler-by-bowler approach through the interval.
James Anderson was superb with the new ball, taking wickets in the first, fifth and 11th over.
Here are his three wickets as he finished with 3-6 from eight overs.

England were bowled out for 67 on this ground just two years ago and went on to win the match. Anything can happen here so we won't be taking anything for granted yet!
Thanks Kal.
Hi everybody. I have absolutely no shame in admitting that I called England's attack "toothless" this morning and predicted that India would be 300-2 at close.
I've spent the last four hours watching James Anderson dismiss Virat Kohli. It is something I will never ever get tired of.
Right, that's me done for the day.
I'm tagging in Callum Matthews to see you through the rest of the first day.

There have now been 22 different pairs of opening batsmen for England since Andrew Strauss retired - which was around 10 years ago. In the 10 years before then, there were just nine pairs.

Stuart: You can tell Haseeb Hameed is an opener. Leaving well and putting away bad balls and looking for quick singles to get off strike and rotate. Early days this innings but I'm enjoying this.
Fair play to Hameed and Burns for seeing out what could have been a tricky seven overs.

It's safe to say that was England's session.
