Joe Root shares some words of wisdom with his team in a huddle, while Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul make their way to the crease with the rather daunting prospect of being 354 runs behind.

India won't want this to affect or inform the rest of the series too.
It is a huge innings for Cheteshwar Pujara, in terms of his Test career. It is a ready-made stage for him.

Former England captain on BBC Test Match Special
It will be tough early on but this pitch doesn't have too many demons. Joe Root, Dawid Malan and the other England batters showed that.

These England bowlers aren't silly, are they? Grey sky, floodlights, rain in the air. It is not the time to be hanging around scratching out tailend runs. It really is a time to be bowling...
Unsurprisingly, James Anderson is all ready and waiting at the side of the pitch.
The covers are on but the umpires are making their way out so it doesn't look as if it will be too long a delay.
Isa Guha
Former England bowler on BBC Test Match Special
The covers are just starting to come on. There is some drizzle in the air.

England are going to win the game - it is just a case of how long it takes them.
England didn't quite manage a lead of 400, but they're still in a very, very strong position.
Craig Overton gave it a good go, though.

This is the first time England have had a 350-plus run lead after the first innings since 2016.
It is the first time they've had a 350-run lead after bowling first for over 10 years, since they had a 486-run lead against India at Edgbaston.
Fair enough on Robinson. Anderson probably didn't want to be out there batting for long anyway so he might as well try and whack a few.
So, England have a ridiculous first-innings lead of 354. Over to you, India.

I don't think Ollie Robinson had any other options really. There is no point turning runs down.
Robinson b Bumrah 0 (Eng 432 all out)
Jasprit Bumrah bowls a no-ball, and follows it up with a wicket as Robinson swings and misses.

I doubt Virat Kohli will have said much to Jimmy Anderson today. He hasn't got much to win with a deficit of 350.
Lead by 353
James Anderson was bombarded with short balls at Lord's. Will we see the same today? He gets a big cheer from the crowd, anyway.
Jonathan Agnew
BBC cricket correspondent on Test Match Special
That was a good 32 from Craig Overton. He is going to be useful for England if he maintains his bowling spot.
Overton lbw b Shami 32 (Eng 431-9)
Never in doubt. Hitting middle stump and there was barely an appeal from India, they just knew it was out.
But that's a very useful innings from Overton.

That review is more in hope than anything else.
Craig Overton is given out lbw to Mohammed Shami. It looks plumb but he's sent it upstairs in desperation.
On day one, it was poor Rory Burns taking all the stick for his hairstyle choices. Today, it's Ravindra Jadeja.
Who next?!
