Ollie Robinson the pick of the bowlers for England with his 5-65, but it was a convincing performance - and a reminder that this is their attack without the experience of Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer, Chris Woakes or Ben Stokes.

Craig Overton finishes with 3-47 and one apiece for James Anderson and Moeen Ali.

I didn't predict England to bounce back this strong. India did make a mistake at the toss, with overcast conditions.

What a comeback from England. Jonny Bairstow snatches the final catch at slip and the celebrations begin.

Well, what a day! Many of us were expecting a full day's play, potentially going into a fifth - the pitch is still good, no real demons in it and yet it's an innings victory. A superb performance.

The main thing is how England bounced back. You saw the loss at Lord's and wonder if it would mentally leave a dent but they've come back doubly strong.

It's been a superb bowling display from Anderson, Overton and, most especially, Ollie Robinson.

Overton finds such excellent bounce. Hit the pitch hard and it moved just a hint.

Just a matter of time now for England!

A lovely bit of bowling from Overton who extracts some sharp bounce and Jadeja, India's last hope, can only edge it behind.

Jasprit Bumrah looks pretty content to be batting, in all fairness. Just a couple of singles off Moeen Ali's over but surely he can expect some short stuff from Craig Overton eventually.

Jadeja drives Craig Overton for another straight four and follows it up with a late cut for the same result.

Oh, and another - this time deliberately edged down to third man. An expensive over, good batting practice for Jadeja.

Nick: Virat Kohli saying, "we will bat first please" has to be one of the best decisions at a toss in Test cricket ever. It must rival Nasser Hussain at the Gabba.

Yesterday, England took two wickets in 83 overs.

This morning, they've taken six wickets in 17 overs for just 49 runs.

Smart cricket from Jadeja who takes a single from the fifth ball to keep the strike for the next over.

This is marvellous - they're trying to find the ball. It's when international cricket becomes like club cricket on a Saturday.

Yep, he's going for it! And he might as well. Jadeja charges down the pitch to Moeen Ali and thumps him for a straight six.

It's not timed perfectly, but just enough to sail over the fielder who's on the boundary.

The thing with Robinson is that he will be successful in different conditions. He's not just an English conditions bowler.

England are just two wickets away from victory.

How does Jadeja play this? Does he go for it, as he has nothing to lose and only Bumrah and Siraj left for company?

What a delivery again and what a start to Test cricket. He's been absolutely brilliant this morning. Take a bow, Ollie Robinson.
