Oh that's just purely dismissive from Rohit Sharma. It looks so effortless, with so much time as if he has picked up the ball and placed it on his bat in the right position to steer down to third man for four.

Michael: This is the kind of situation where a Stokes or a Flintoff would make something happen. Maybe even Archer. England don't have that match winner available. They look all out of ideas.
Sean Bulpitt: Yet another England masterclass in how to throw away great positions. Abject batting, horrendous catching and a captain who doesn't have any plans. All we need now is another Lord's batting display to cap off a typical English performance.
Leon Lewis: At some point we’ll learn that you don’t need/want Anderson, Woakes, Robinson and Overton all in the same side. You always need a point of difference.

After a difficult start to the series, this has been a real innings of intent from Pujara. England have no answers.

His 31st Test 50 in 90 matches.
Cheteshwar Pujara has got his groove back.
India's rock at number three guides a short ball from Overton for four to third man and that brings up his half century.
It seems almost inevitable that he's going to join his batting partner in reaching three figures. I can't recall him giving away a chance.

It's so important that with this kind of attack, when the ball's not swinging, England are going to have to create different angles.
In Australia, they're going to have to come up with a plan for how to take 20 wickets.

A maiden over from Chris Woakes.
Test Match Special are currently discussing sausage rolls, which is probably the only indicator you need that England aren't having the best of days.

He has put on a yard or two Craig Overton at 84/85 mph.
But he has looked ineffective bowling those fuller of length deliveries compared to how he performed at Headingley.

Bit of chirpsing between Craig Overton and Pujara, who backed away as the bowler was running in, which seemed to disgruntle him.
Overton then tucks Rohit up a bit with a short-ish delivery, and he plays it up in the air off his hip without much conviction.

I'm just staggered.
There's so much experience in this England team, how they haven't noticed the need to bowl more shorter deliveries before now to both batsmen.

The field suggests England are about to try that exact tactic, Michael.
Craig Overton is the man for the job and the first ball is predictably short, but comfortably played along the ground to deep square leg.

I don't think I've seen Ollie Robinson bowl a single bouncer in this match yet, he's had Rohit out twice in this series with the short ball.
Right then, the final session is about to begin. What a brutal day so far for England.
As a bowler myself - albeit a very average one who finds bowling 10 overs a bit excessive - I can't even imagine how tough it is to stand in the field for almost an entire day and only take one wicket.

Mark Burt: This batting from India just highlights how reckless and indisciplined England were yesterday. Stacks of runs for the taking and no takers. Amazed if India don’t post 450+.
Paul Richards: Can we give some credit to the Oval ground staff? Instead of the standard 'flat track early, that spins by Day 5', we've got a cracker for a range of skills. Green, then tricky, now a road, and still changing. Superb for the game.
Other than that, it's been quite simply The Rohit Sharma Show.
His first Test century out of India and he went there with a six. Delightful.
There would've been a few ripples of nerves in the India camp when Cheteshwar Pujara fell awkwardly on his ankle. But the pitch is so good and the ball doing so little that you can even bat comfortably on one leg, it seems.
Thanks, Matt.
I wasn't much use in bringing wickets this morning either. Maybe I'll offer England some more luck in the evening? Although, Michael Vaughan below describes England as 'doomed', so perhaps not.
The latest edition of the TMS quiz, Silly Pointless, is just beginning on t' radio.
I'm going to hand back to Ffion Wynne. Sorry England fans, I wasn't much use in bringing a wicket there.
