Ooooo. It's umpire's call again. It was hitting a lot more of the stumps than the last one but not enough.

The ball has hit the top of Sibley's pad. But he was playing on the back foot...

That's got to be going over.

  6. Sri Lanka reviewpublished at 09:09 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2021

This one is closer. Dom Sibley is hit on the pad again. Sri Lanka take it upstairs.

You've had a good result there, Oscar. Any more home-school-cricket-working scenarios will be gratefully received.

Currently supervising key worker students at school, but because of the snow, only one has turned up. We've both agreed to listen to the cricket while working/delivering live lessons.

The ball tracking shows the ball would have given leg stump the tiniest of flicks. The original not out decision stands. Sibley can bat on.

  10. Postpublished at 09:05 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2021

At best this will only be flicking leg stump, surely.

  11. Sri Lanka reviewpublished at 10.3 overs

I really feel for anyone trying to work, home school a child and follow this. The cricket is distracting enough.

Sri Lanka have called for a review for lbw against Dom Sibley. I'd be very surprised if this was out.

We're back under way with a different ball. Tuffers says Bairstow is a white-ball specialist and he's currently rattling along at a strike-rate of 125.

Have your nerves settled a little?

Well, Jonny Bairstow is something of a white-ball specialist!

  15. Postpublished at 08:58 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2021

This is incredible. The ball is ruined. It looks like it has been dropped in a bag of flour.

A new stash of balls has been brought onto the field.

The ball has landed in a bucket of whitewash! I have never seen that before. It is absolutely soaked in it.

Phew! Dickwella shrieks at ear-drum bursting level but a top-edged sweep carries all the way for six from Bairstow.

Bairstow will play those shots that puts a bowler off their rhythm and scatters the field.

Happy Birthday, Andy. It's good to have you with us.

I can bring you more good news because Jonny Bairstow has just reverse swept Embuldeniya for four. I have no problem with Root, Bairstow and Buttler playing that shot. They're good at it. Well played.

What an amazing present for my 50th birthday. Every time I opened a gift, another Sri Lankan wicket was gone! Now England to win by several wickets to complete the day!
