England are sensing something. The ball explodes off the pitch from Anderson and takes Rahane's glove.

    Get the catchers in Joe!

    It is a huge wicket.

It was a great delivery by Dom Bess. It's a good line on about fifth or sixth stump and Virat Kohli had to go out and defend. It turned a little bit and the extra bounce meant it went straight off the inside edge.

His confidence will go up now and he can really start getting into the game now.

That was a good catch by Ollie Pope at short leg.

It goes without saying that that is an absolutely massive wicket for England.

DOM BESS GETS KOHLI. Virat Kohli is out!

Bess has been really good in this spell and he bowls a perfect off-spinner's delivery. It spins, bounces, takes the inside edge and is snaffled by Ollie Pope at short leg.

That's a massive, massive moment in this match.

  8. Ind 70-2published at 24 overs

    Pujara 24, Kohli 11

Another maiden from Anderson, who certainly does have the authority here.

If you aren't aware of Jackie Weaver, you should be.

There was a long chat between Root, Bess and Ben Stokes before this over. Bess looked to be leading the discussion of his plans which is good to see for a relatively inexperienced spinner.

Bess gets sizeable turn for the first time and Pujara almost plays onto his stumps. Good bowling.

James Gulleford: This is where I feel Root isn’t attacking enough as a captain. All these runs to play with and he’s only given Bess a slip and short leg. Get some more men around the bat!

    Pujara 24, Kohli 10

Anderson is using his left hand to hide the ball in his run-up. It's not a lot but I think there's the tiniest bit of reverse swing there for him.

Pujara - half man, half limpet - blocks out a maiden.

I wouldn't say that India fear Jofra Archer but they will always be very aware of what he can produce. He has pace, great control and some movement.

If the ball starts reversing then James Anderson and Ben Stokes could cause a great deal of damage.

Dom Bess has been pretty accurate so far in this spell but hasn't found any real bite from the pitch.

From the final ball of the over, Kohli miscues and chips the ball in the air short of mid-wicket. England's bowlers are in the game.

  19. Mayers makes century on debut as WI eye huge chasepublished at 07:07 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2021

Over in Bangladesh, their Test against West Indies is set to go to the wire.

Chasing 395 to win, debutant Kyle Mayers has just passed his century and his stand with fellow debutant Nkrumah Bonner is now worth nearly 170.

West Indies still need just over 160 to win and complete what would be the fifth-highest chase in Test history.

You can follow the score over here.

Joe Root is loving this from Jofra Archer. You can see it from the look on his face.

Archer isn't bowling at full pace but is finding movement to trouble both batsman.
