India are slightly in retreat. Yes, there's a slip and a leg slip for Stokes, but there are also men out for both kinds of sweep. England have an opportunity for a partnership. If you want to compare this pitch to the last Test, it's like watching two different sports.

Occasionally, the spin bowlers are starting to float a couple of deliveries wider, because they've seen it start to turn. As a spinner, you sometimes have to lure the batsmen a bit.
There's now spin at both ends. The lesser-spotted Washington Sundar has ripped one past Stokes' edge and the long-limbed Axar is causing jitters for Ollie Pope. A good time for England to have a drink.

Prashant: Looking at the pitch now, at least for India's first Innings, are England a pace bowler short? Especially if England don't bat long enough in their first Innings! Can Stokes bowl long enough spells? He has hardly bowled any overs this series.
