Watching Moeen Ali takes days off your life, I'm sure.

He sweeps. India cry "catch". The ball falls safely and runs for four.

    Breathe.

Mark Edwards: Can you think of any real positives to have come out of this tour to India so far for England? I can't really think of any. The odd good individual performance in a match maybe, but no one has really stood up and out.

Need 119 runs from 120 balls

Moeen, languid as ever, times the ball beautifully for a couple of singles to long-on. These two are just having a look. It's gonna be tense.

That was a brilliant second spell from Thakur - you always have to believe in one-day cricket that you can take wickets and change the game, and he showed that is the case after an expensive first spell.

Kuldeep is back returns having got a pasting in his previous spell. It's a decent over until the final ball which is too short and Billings smashes it away to the boundary rope.

That'll settle the England nerves a touch. Billings' shoulder looks OK.

This is why you need someone like Root at three. You can't always keep bish bash boshing.

No wicket but Krunal Pandya continues the squeeze with his left-arm spin. Just two from the over.

  10. Eng 187-5published at 27.2 overs

Wicketkeeper KL Rahul really fancies a review, thinking Sam Billings has been hit on the pad shortly before bat.

Replays show it hit the middle of the willow.

India are not going away here! Two new batters at the crease now. Could still be an interesting finish.

Thanks Mike. What happened? The biggest concern when I left was whether you should put nutmeg in a bechamel sauce.

England need 133 runs from 138 balls.

I'm placing you back in the capable hands of Matt Henry. England seemed to be batting much better under his watch...

Damien Fitton: I'm with Craig. Panic is starting to set in here now. Momentum has been sliding the other way since the opening partnership was broken. Need calm heads. They can do this just nudging it around for the rest of the innings.

Just the one over for Bhuvneshwar, who makes way for the spin of Krunal Pandya. Five runs off it, England looking at the ball rather studiously right now, as well they might.

David Wilson: Very disappointing from England after that start. Stokes never looked comfortable, runs dried up and now we can’t lay bat on ball. It’s always all or nothing from England, no middle ground.

Two more dot balls for Thakur, who has three wickets now.

The game has turned on its head. Moeen and Billings out in the middle, they've got a rebuilding job on their hands.

Thakur has Buttler trapped in front, finger raised swiftly from umpire Menon. Buttler sends it upstairs...

    Morgan c Rahul b Thakur 22 (Eng 175-4)

A hint of that collapse, Craig?

Another short ball does the goods for India, Morgan pulls hard but can only edge through to Rahul behind the stumps.

England are ahead of the rate, but they've got two fresh batsmen in. Interesting period coming up...
