Frowns from England as Krishna sends one high and wide. Fair delivery apparently...

  2. Eng 130-1published at 20.4 overs

Krishna back into the attack in place of Kuldeep.

Stokes pushes into mid-wicket and runs. Is this another misjudgement from England? Excellent fielding from Krunal who gathers and throws down the non-strikers end but Bairstow makes it home for two.

Yeah, Stokes is here to party.

He makes room and punches Krunal Pandya into the covers and having regained the strikes hits a mistimed slog sweep for another single.

Stokes hits through the line over mid-on. Glorious stroke.

Kuldeep continues. Just two singles off it as England are becalmed - but for how long? Based on the big swing from Stokes in the last over he's not going to watch it for a few overs...

Krunal Pandya into the attack for spin at both ends. Stokes drives at him hard and offers a thick edge - no slip though, it runs down to the boundary for two.

  8. Eng 111-1published at 17 overs

Single for Stokes to England's favourite area of long on.

That seemed like it was the only way that partnership was going to be broken. Excellent work in the ring from Rohit but really not ideal for England.

Excellent piece of fielding from Rohit but the call from Bairstow ought to have been ‘wait’ - shouted very loudly.

Oh, why would you do that?!

Bairstow pushes Kuldeep into mid-wicket and sets off, Rohit collects swiftly and there's hesitation from both batsmen as he throws down the stumps at the keeper's ends.

There's some confusion as to whether the batsmen have crossed - they just about have and Roy departs. This is where it all began to fall apart for England on Tuesday.

Both openers have now brought up their fifties with sixes, as Bairstow hits over long-on once again. It comes off 45 balls.

100 up for England in the 16th over - Roy runs it down to backward point. Bairstow miss-times the next ball and it pops up... into plenty of space.
