Roy's turn!
He sends the previous parsimonious Kuldeep over the ropes. That's his 50 and it comes off 47 balls.

What a shot that is from Bairstow, especially the ball after one bounced and flew through to the keeper. Ridiculous
Bairstow's bored of not hitting boundaries.
He clubs Thakur for a maximum, over the despairing dive of Krunal Pandya and sending the India dug-out scattering.
Another drive on the up from Roy, this time through point for a single. Another fielder on the off side needed?
Kuldeep doing a good job for stemming England's tide here. Roy's still swinging, but he can't get his pull to mid-wicket away - just a single.

Peaky: I hope England keep Bairstow away from the Test team now. Him and Roy are the best ODI opening partnership in the world.
Image source, BCCILeg-side wide first up from Thakur, but it's a tighter second over generally.
Bairstow pushes a single down to long-on, Roy follows with an uppish slash at a wider one - shouts for a catch but there's no-one near.

Thenightwatch: I wanted to put the England run chase on as background while I worked but I know as soon as I do we will start to lose wickets. The burdens of having a superpower I suppose.

Half-hearted appeal for an lbw off Bairstow but it's high and outside the line. Two from it.
Thanks Matt.
For the record, India were 41-2 at this stage.
Target 337
Lovely from Bairstow at the end of the over. Kohli doesn't even move at extra cover as England's ginger opener hits a back-foot punch to the fence.
10 gone. England are going okay. Here's Mike Peter.

BBC Test Match Special commentator
Bairstow and Roy beginning to do their thing again. But after Tuesday, and most of the ODIs England have played in India in the 21st century, it’s best to wait a while before trying to work out how close they can get to 337.
Bairstow loves it there - waist-high and with enough width to free his arms. He hoiks the ball over the leg side.
Stuart Broad, part of Sky's commentary today, suggests Shardul Thakur looks like he's been to Ben Stokes' barber. I don't think he means it as a compliment.
Thakur has taken to the back and sides with the clippers and left the floppy, lengthy top.
He starts with three dots to Bairstow.

Charlie Latto: I made the mistake of putting on the cricket when Roy and Bairstow were doing well last match, just to see the first wicket. Not making that mistake again.
Target 337
This opening stand has England in the game. Still, the difficulty they face is shown by the fact the required rate has crept up to just a smidge under seven.
Kohli makes his first bowling change with Shardul Thakur replacing Prasidh Krishna.
That lbw was close, you know. It was umpire's call on height.
Bairstow gets a boundary past fine leg a couple of balls later. It's another fifty partnership for Roystow.
Image source, BCCIThis one is close... Bairstow is hit on the pad by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
Kohli opts against a review. Bairstow was down the pitch.
