Horrific optimism from Ben (12:49) there. Evidently trying his best to jinx this England side.

Roy 39, Bairstow 6
Kohli makes himself heard again, applauding Hardik Pandya for a one-handed pick-up and throw at mid-off. He wants to get absolutely everything out of his players and does a good job of getting it.
The India captain will be less happy with the final ball of Krishna's over. It's short and wide and Roy slaps it over extra for four.
Target 337
You guessed it, Jason Roy keeps the strike at the end of the over.
This is set up nicely.

What is it with England fans and negativity? We're a world class team, up against another world class team. They've laid down the gauntlet now it's time for our gun batsmen to give it a shot. Let's get behind the boys.
Ben, London
Image source, BCCIJason Roy is into fourth gear. A lovely lift over the slips off a bouncer is followed by a back-foot punch down the ground.
It's a good pitch...
Roy 25, Bairstow 5
For the second time in the innings, Kohli makes a good stop on the dive at extra cover. Roy gets a single but his booming drive deserved four. Still Bairstow can't get a look in. He needs to have a word. "Any chance, Jase?"
13 from the over.

Kaushik: All India needs is to get two wickets of Roy and Bairstow and the match is done and dusted.
This is good from Jason Roy. Like in the previous game, he's had a look and now is attacking the inexperienced Prasidh Krishna. Four more to the total.
Jason Roy thwacks Krishna off his length baseball style. Geoffrey wouldn't like it but it's four.
Another swish a ball later from Roy. Same result.
Required run-rate: 7.11
There was swing for England's opening bowlers early on too, remember. Still, it's not the all-action, big-hitting batting of the end of India's innings.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, always fiddling with his nicely cropped hair, keeps things quiet.

Paul: Are we playing on the same pitch? With the same ball? India’s seamers look like they’ve pressed pause and changed the “difficulty” setting.
Image source, BCCIHe's being rested, Amit. He'll be back in this team soon enough.
Bairstow bats his first boundary, a cross-batted swish across the line to Bhuvneshwar.

Amit K: Why isn't Joe Root playing then if there is no experience in this England team? Doesn't make sense. He is one of the finest current batsman in all formats for England.
Roy 10, Bairstow 0
I think I'll be hearing Virat Kohli's cackles from the in-field and seeing his strut in my sleep right up until the series in England this summer. We better get used to it.
Roy gets this one away. He holds the pose on a straight drive.
Jason Roy is hogging the strike but is going nowhere with it.
He has faced 17 balls to Bairstow's three.
A beauty from Bhuvi swings in and seams away, beating Roy completely. There's a nod of appreciation from England's big-hitting opener.
England can't get going.

Time for a 40 minute walk around the park without my phone, when I get back I'm guessing "collapse" will be somewhere in the headline for this live page...
Andrew, London
Target 337
Krishna will take that start. A single from the final ball is the only run scored from his first over.
India's fielders are in tight, firing the ball into Pant's gloves after collecting it. Krishna builds the dots.
