    While Ollie Pope continues to close in on 200, his partner Jamie Smith has just brought up his half-century.

    This pair have continued to score at a really decent rate, with Smith's fifty coming off 77 balls.

    Surrey have also brought up maximum batting points and now lead Leicestershire by 57 runs.

    Having started really steadily and safely negotiated the first 11 overs, Middlesex have suffered a mini-collapse.

    Max Holden was trapped in front by Kyle Abbott, before Mohammad Abbas took his eighth wicket in the match by dismissing Stevie Eskinazi.

    The visitors, still trailing by 490, face a really tough task.

    A well-deserved 50 for Lancashire's Steven Croft comes off 99 balls with five fours.

    It's 300 up for Essex in this sensational game at Chelmsford.

    Number nine Ben Allison is unbeaten on 43 while number 10 Sam Cook is 21 not out.

    Essex's lead is now 139 runs. Durham will want to get these last two wickets as soon as possible. Batting last on this surface won't be easy.

    Ryan Higgins is back into the attack and back among the wickets, bowling Craig Overton for two to leave Somerset seven down.

    This would be a memorable win for Gloucestershire if they can see it through.

    Ollie Pope is still flying along at The Oval, moving to 168 not out - and at a decent strike rate of 81.55.

    He'll definitely be eyeing 200 from here and, possibly, even his first-class best score of 251.

    He's helped his side past Leicestershire's first-innings 375.

    The momentum at Taunton remains very much with Gloucestershire, who have taken their first wicket after lunch.

    Steven Davies, who scored 87 in the first innings, is the man to fall, caught by George Hankins off the bowling of David Payne.

    Somerset's lead is just 71 with only five wickets in hand.
