Yorks 206 & 43-3 v Northants 234
Gosh this day's play has taken a while but it's been a goodun.
Northants were being blown away but rallied ever so well and should have claimed a bigger lead.
Yorkshire have got ahead but have lost their top three.
Northants hold hope of a first win at Headingley since 1990 - and just a third win there since England's footballers won the World Cup!
Somerset 178-4 v Middlesex 357
Somerset have enjoyed a fine final hour thanks to an unbroken stand of 80 between debutant Lewis Goldsworthy (34 not out) and George Bartlett (43 not out).
It leaves the game beautifully poised heading into day three.
Yorks 206 & 35-3 v Northants 234
Another one for Northants!
Adam Lyth has edged Gareth Berg straight into the hands of third slip.
The visitors now right on top in Leeds.
Durham 287-4 v Warwickshire 87
Durham close day two with a lead of exactly 200 and six wickets left in the hutch to push on in the morning.
Alex Lees is unbeaten on 126. A mammoth innings of 336 balls so far.
Glos 176-6 v Leics 421
A great day for the Foxes.
They ground out 144 overs to post 421 with Lewis Hill making his first century since 2015.
And then ran through Gloucestershire's middle order, plunging them from 99-1 to 121-6, Chris Wright with four wickets.
The hosts will have work to do to save the follow-on in the morning.
Yorks 206 & 33-2 v Northants 234
The game has turned nicely a couple of times at Headingley with both sides battling back.
Yorkshire in the end might have settled for a deficit of 28 after Northants were 199-6.
That's now been wiped out and they can set about building their target.
But they have lost a second wicket with Will Fraine lbw playing across a full ball from Wayne Parnell.
Somerset 165-4 v Middlesex 357
Four overs to go at Taunton.
Somerset will be desperate that George Bartlett and Lewis Goldsworthy see it through to stumps.
They've batted really well in this stand of 67.
Derbys 23-0 (target 470) v Notts
Tom Wood and Luis Reece see Derbyshire through to stumps.
Notts are still heavy favourites for a first red-ball victory since 2018 after setting their East Midlands rivals a target of 470.
Surrey 513-3 v Hants 92
And that will indeed be it for the day in south London.
Hashim Amla will resume on 215 in the morning.
Lancs 190-6 v Sussex 328
Very much Sussex's day.
They couldn't reach a fourth batting point this morning but they've got through the meat of the Lancashire batting.
Off-spinner Jack Carson again the pick of the attack with four wickets.
But this Lancashire side are seldom downed without a fight and they have more than enough to work themselves back into the game on the morrow.
Somerset 138-4 v Middlesex 357
Somerset debutant Lewis Goldsworthy has hit a couple of boundaries to get his innings going.
That'll ease a few nerves for the 20-year-old Cornish batsman.
Durham 272-4 v Warwickshire 87
Alex Lees and Ned Eckersley get things going for Durham again.
Warwickshire picked up three quick wickets before the rain interruption but they're still a long way behind in this game.
Lancs 184-6 v Sussex 328; Yorks 206 & 12-1 v Northants 234
Josh Bohannan and Danny Lamb are creeping Lancashire towards the close and keeping them in the game.
But they're still yet to get into bonus-point territory.
Three overs left at Hove.
Northants have nipped out Tom Kohler-Cadmore as they try to make the most of their first innings lead of 28.
Surrey 513-3 v Hants 92
The umpires have deemed that the floodlights have taken over from the natural light at The Oval and off they go.
Hashim Amla strolls off on 215, Jamie Smith has 66. That could well be it for the day with Surrey leading by 421.
Somerset 124-4 v Middlesex 357
They're back out at Taunton. George Bartlett and debutant Lewis Goldsworthy are the men in the middle for Somerset.
15 overs remain. Grab your pyjamas.
Worcs 37-0 v Essex 561-8 dec
Jake Libby and Daryl Mitchell have seen out 16 overs late in the day to take Worcestershire through to stumps unscathed.
The Pears will probably need to bat for most of the remaining two days if they're going to get anything out of the game.
Durham 271-4 v Warwickshire 87
After a long rain delay, they're going to get going again at 18:10 BST at Chester-le-Street.
9.3 overs will remain on day two.
Derbys 11-0 (target 470) v Notts
Tom Wood and Luis Reece have begun Derbyshire's 'chase' at The County Ground.
Records are there to be broken though! 459 more to win.
Somerset 120-4 v Middlesex 357
The rain has cleared once again at somerset and they'll get going in 10 minutes.
