    Gary Ballance walks off on 91 but those two late wickets have given Kent a boost.

    Northants still all over Sussex in this one but the visitors are still hanging in there with an 86-run partnership between Stiaan van Zyl (71 not out) and Ben Brown (30 not out).

    But they are still 181 runs behind making them bat again.

    Plumb as that one and Hampshire are three down and still 168 behind.
