    It's his first first-class century against Essex and his first in the county championship since the end of 2019.

    Notts now 165 ahead thanks to this superb knock.

    Ben Mike (70 not out) has reached a half-century in quick time after a couple of boundaries off Amar Virdi.

    He's also raced past long-time batting partner Harry Swindells (60 not out) in the process.

    These two have added 115 for the seventh wicket.

    Miguel Cummins isn't known for his batting, with a first-class average of less than eight and a best of 29 not out.

    But the West Indian has just biffed Steven Patterson for a couple of huge sixes.over mid-wicket followed by a four in front of square in an over that cost 17.

    It looks like the second maximum went out of Headingley.

    He's up to 25 in no time.
