Hampshire held up Somerset very well throughout the afternoon, owing a great deal to Keith Barker and Felix Organ's partnership, but just couldn't hold on long enough.

That's a fourth win in five games for Somerset, who keep up the pressure on Group Two leaders Gloucestershire, who have a similarly good start to the season.

The damage was done for Hampshire in the first innings when they only made 79 and Craig Overton and Josh Davey were the stars for Somerset, claiming seven wickets each.
