    Lancashire 23-0 v Glamorgan 344

So much time has been lost to rain at Old Trafford that this one is likely to end in a draw.

It's all about how many batting bonus points Lancashire can get.

Keaton Jennings and Alex Davies are at the crease for the hosts.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:06 British Summer Time 9 May 2021

    Wessels c Hain b Bresnan 17 (Warwickshire 343 v Worcestershire 198-5)

Riki Wessels edges Tim Bresnan's delivery to Sam Hain at second slip and is already on his way back to the pavilion.

That wicket came with the Pears yet to add to their overnight total - or rather Friday's overnight total as the rain made play impossible yesterday.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:05 British Summer Time 9 May 2021

    Van Zyl c Vasconcelos b Sanderson 72 (Northants 491-9 dec v Sussex 106 & 159-5)

Ben Sanderson strikes with his first ball of the day!

Stiaan van Zyl plays a loose drive edges the paceman to first slip.

Sussex's hopes of saving the game take a huge blow.

  8. Postpublished at 11:04 British Summer Time 9 May 2021

    Northants 491-9 dec v Sussex 106 & 159-4

One game where we could well have a positive result is at Northants.

Sussex need another 176 to avoid an innings defeat.

Stiaan van Zyl (72 not out) and Ben Brown (34 not out) are the Sussex batsmen looking to hold off Northants.

    Morning!

Thankfully it's looking much drier and brighter out there than the soggy Saturday which saw six matches washed out.

So we should get plenty of cricket on this final day of County Championship action.

    Play starts in 10 minutes...
