Ryan ten Doeschate is 40 years old but he still has excellent reflexes and a great pair of hands. That wasn't as good a catch as the earlier one to get rid of Wayne Madsen, but it was still a sharp chance at short leg.

That is 11 wickets in the game now for Simon Harmer and Derbyshire are still 48 short of making Essex bat again as Fynn Hudson-Prentice walks out to bat.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Barnard c Poynter b Carse 1 (Worcestershire 136-7 - target 323)

Into the attack and it takes Brydon Carse just one ball to remove Ed Barnard with a sneaky out-swinger that just moves enough to get a nick.

At this rate we'll be done before tea. What a session so far from Durham.

  3. 6 runs

Robinson clears the ropepublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Kent 145 & 338-3 v Sussex 256

Delray Rawlins pulls one down short and Ollie Robinson hoists it away over deep mid-wicket for six. That was a freebie for the Kent batsman.

A single in the following over for Jack Leaning sees the pair post a 150 stand and Robinson celebrates by pulling Tom Clark away for four.

With that, rain returns and the players head off for tea. Leaning has 109 and Robinson is 80 not out.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Libby lbw b Wood 36 (Worcestershire 135-6 - target 323)

I think we'll get a result here. What a spell!

Jake Libby is the latest Worcestershire batsman who fails to read a pacey delivery.

Libby had been dropped three times already this innings but he finally falls. Ed Barnard and Ben Cox are the two new man in each yet to get off the mark.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Wessels lbw b Rushworth 0 (Worcestershire 135-5 - target 323)

    Number 529.

Another cracking delivery from Chris Rushworth pinning Rikki Wessles leg before for a six-ball duck.

    Plumb.

    Kent 145 & 321-3 v Sussex 256

    Jack LeaningImage source, Rex Features

A single off Delray Rawlins takes Jack Leaning to a 209-ball hundred, his sixth in first class cricket and second for Kent against Sussex, having hit an unbeaten 220 against them in last summer's Bob Willis Trophy.

He punches the air with pleasure on reaching three figures and it has been a fine-patient knock by the ex-Yorkshire batsman. The Kent lead is 210.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    D'Oliveira c Poynter b Wood 7 (Worcestershire 134-4 - target 323)

Mark Wood has his third of the match.

Worcestershire are collapsing as the England paceman has Brett D'Oliveria edging to the keeper.

There is no doubting just how much that club record wicket meant to Durham's Chris Rushworth. What an incredible servant he has been.

    Here's Rushworth's historic wicket.

    Smart catch too.

  10. Century stand by Kent pairpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Kent 145 & 292-3 v Sussex 256

George Garton has finally been brought into the attack by Sussex, but nothing doing wickets-wise in his opening over.

Jack Leaning takes two runs from the opening delivery of the next, bowled by Delray Rawlins, and brings up a 100 partnership with Ollie Robinson.

He is now 86 not out and Robinson has 53.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:20 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Haynes c Lees b Rushworth 24 (Worcestershire 119-3 - target 323)

A record-breaking wicket as Chris Rushworth takes his 528th scalp to become Durham's all-time leading wicket taker.

It's a classic bowlers dismissal as well, getting the batsman to nibble as Jack Haynes edges to first slip.

  13. Prospects bleak in Cardiffpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Glamorgan 149 & 108-3 v Yorkshire 230 - delayed start

There hasn't been any play at Sophia Gardens so far today - and it's looking like that's the way things are going to stay.

    Fancy another one?

This game is well and truly on now with Derbyshire still 73 runs behind.

It's a much simpler catch in the slips for Alastair Cook but you've got to take them.

Two new men in at the crease.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Madsen c ten Doeschate b Harmer 36 (Derbyshire 146 & 164-3 v Essex 412-3 dec)

    What a catch this is.

Diving to his right at short leg Ryan ten Doeschate plucks the ball out of the air to remove Wayne Madsen.

A 10th wicket in the match for Simon Harmer too after he took 9-80 in the first innings.

  16. Postpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Worcestershire 114-2 (target 323)

And Worcestershire navigate past the famous mark with a Jack Haynes three. Haynes moves on to 24 while Jake Libby is going well on 27.

for Ollie Robinsonpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Kent 145 & 283-3 v Sussex 256

    Ollie RobinsonImage source, Rex Features

No sign of George Garton turning his arm over yet for Sussex as Delray Rawlins begins another over. A single by Ollie Robinson carries him to an 85-ball fifty and that sets a trend for the over, which yields six runs. Kent's lead is now 172.

  18. Postpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Worcestershire 111-2 (target 323)

111 up for Worcestershire. Still 312 behind.

  19. Postpublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Kent 145 & 265-3 v Sussex 256

Sussex call up Ollie Robinson for another dart at his Kentish namesake.

Batsman Robinson picks up a single from the fifth delivery and is 42 not out, with his side now 154 in front.

  20. Postpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 16 May 2021

    Derbyshire 146 & 164-3 v Essex 412-3 dec
