Northamptonshire v Lancashire 67-1
Thankfully the shower at Wantage Road did not stick around for long. The players will be back out in a few minutes.
Kent 307 v Glamorgan 55-2 - start delayed
The bulletins from the Spitfire Ground are repetitive, if nothing else.
There was an inspection at 14:00, we just had one at 15:00 and there will be another at 16:00.

Derbys 176-4 v Durham
It was only a brief shower at The Incora County Ground and so they'll be back on in five minutes.
Helm c Amla b Clark 4 (Surrey 190 v Middlesex 147-8)
Cricket can be a tough game.
Tom Helm is dinged on the helmet by a rising ball from Jordan Clark, but gamely bats on after being cleared by the physio.
Three balls later and he gives Hashim Amla catching practice at mid-off. Helm looks at the ground ruefully before trudging off.
Hants 233 v Leics 48-8
Hugely frustrating for Hampshire. Relief for Leicestershire.
The rain returns at The Ageas Bowl and off they trundle.
Derbys 176-4 v Durham
There's still a bit of weather about in the East Midlands and they've gone off for bad light.
There's also a bit of drizzle in the air at The County Ground.
Essex 79-3 v Warwickshire 166
As is so often the case, Alastair Cook is the lynchpin for Essex.
The 36-year-old brings up his half-century off 87 balls.
It's his third of the season, one of which he converted into a century.
Gloucestershire v Somerset 150-6
The Somerset total reaches 150 at Bristol as Tom Abell flicks a leg-side delivery down to fine leg for four to end the latest over by Daniel Worrall. Abell is now 64 not out and Craig Overton is his new partner.
Northamptonshire v Lancashire 67-1
It's strange to see Luke Wells out there with anything other than a Sussex badge on his shirt. But he's a Lancashire man these days and has yet to open his account in this innings as he is tied down by a Gareth Berg maiden for Northants.
It's been a brief spell of action and the players are off again because of rain.
Lawrence b Norwell 14 (Essex 77-3 v Warwickshire 166)
BIG wicket for the Bears at Chelmsford...
It's a beautiful yorker from Liam Norwell which castles England batsman Dan Lawrence.
Essex won't want to concede a first-innings deficit here otherwise they might be in for a nervy final day.
Notts 188-3 v Worcs
Fifty for Notts batsman Lyndon James.
It's the 22-year-old's third in first-class cricket.
His stand with Ben Duckett continues to grow - it's worth 137 so far.
Hants 233 v Leics 47-8
Fifth wicket for Hampshire paceman Kyle Abbott and Leicestershire are staring the follow-on in the face.
The South African bowls Gavin Griffiths to leave the Foxes first innings in tatters.
They still need another 37 or they'll be asked to bat again in testing conditions.
Cullen b Roach 12 (Middlesex 140-7)
Teenager Blake Cullen plays an orthodox defensive stroke. It looks solid, no gap there - except that there must have been, as the ball hits off stump and Kemar Roach has his fourth wicket of the Middlesex first innings. The deficit is 50 as Tom Helm comes out to join John Simpson.
Jennings c Rossington b Berg 27 (Lancashire 27)
That wasn't a great shot by Keaton Jennings - and he knows it.
The Lancashire opener is lured into a drive by an angled ball from Gareth Berg, but his front foot movement is poor and Adam Rossington takes the catch behind the stumps.
It ends an opening partnership of 63 with Alex Davies.
Gloucestershire v Somerset 143-6
That's three wickets in nine balls for Daniel Worrall, who is suddenly on fire for Gloucestershire.
After removing George Bartlett in his previous over, the paceman had Lewis Goldsworthy caught behind for two by England new boy James Bracey - an easy catch that one.
And two balls later, Worrall found the edge as Steven Davies pushed forward and Chris Dent dived at third slip to take the catch millimetres above the ground to send him on his way for a duck.
So we now have play in seven matches.
The only one where they're still waiting to start is at Kent. Another inspection is planned at Canterbury in around 15 minutes.
Hants 233 v Leics 46-7
Leicestershire have just lost their seventh wicket at The Ageas Bowl with Mohammad Abbas getting Chris Wright cheaply.
The visitors need another 38 to avoid the follow-on with three wickets in hand.
Northamptonshire v Lancashire 63-0
So we are finally back in action at Northampton, though the weather in the north of the county is ghastly at the moment.
Lancashire have added four to their total at the end of day one - remember, there was no play possible yesterday.
Alex Davies now has 34 and Keaton Jennings is 27 not out.
Essex 69-2 v Warwickshire 166
After a lengthy delay at Essex, the light has improved and they're back on.
Dan Lawrence and Alastair Cook are the men in the middle for the hosts.
Notts 172-3 v Worcs
Thankfully they weren't off for too long in Nottingham and play has restarted.
Ben Duckett is 17 away from his century.
