  1. Tea at Grace Roadpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 281-2 (target 378)

In the final over before tea Leicestershire take the required runs below three figures.

Marcus Harris has struck a quite magnificent 164 not out while Colin Ackerman has been solid, unbeaten at the other end on 80.

The partnership is 199. The Foxes need 96 more to win.

  2. 200 runs

200 up for Yorkshirepublished at 15:37 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 205-6, Lancashire 509-9 dec

Yorkshire go past 200 - and Harry Duke is at long last off the mark - but runs are immaterial here.

All that counts are wickets. Four more to take!

Lancy legspinner Matt Parkinson is really getting into his rhythm now. 2-49 off 32 overs. But the Tykes rearguard is holding firm.

Luke Wells - one of three leggies in the Lancashire side - comes on for a rare bowl. Home skipper Dane Vilas trying something a bit different.

  3. Duke denying Lancashire againpublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 180-6, Lancashire 509-9 dec

A minimum of 40 overs left in this match now, not long to go to tea - and Harry Duke is holding up Lancashire again.

The first-innings half-centurion is not yet off the mark - but he's taken up 27 balls doing it.

The more than useful Dom Bess has been there an hour and half for his 21 off 72 balls.

Gritty effort this. Proper Roses Match cricket.

  4. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 261-2 (target 378)

Finally a chance as Colin Ackermann top edges one but the ball lands safe at point.

I make that the first time either Ackermann or Harris have looked like getting out.

The very next ball and Ackermann pulls Tom Helm away for four to move to 71.

  5. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 255-2 (target 378)

Marcus Harris brings up his 150 off 250 balls with a well-timed four.

The runs are flowing for the Australian who seems to be scoring off every shot now.

Incredible to think this morning Leicestershire resumed on 75-1 and were very quickly 83-2.

  6. wicket

A fifth wicket at Edgbastonpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Mullaney c Yates b Hannon-Dalby 8 (Notts 89-5 v Warwickshire, chasing 309 to win)

Notts skipper Steven Mullaney is the latest to go as Oliver Hannon-Dalby strikes again.

Mullaney hooks straight to Rob Yates at square leg and Notts slump to 89-5.

Possibly not the ideal shot in the circumstances.

Tom Moores is the new man in. Five more wickets needed for Warwickshire. Notts surely playing just to save the game now.

  7. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 249-2 (target 378)

Leicestershire are giving this a real go and now need just another 129 from 43 overs.

Marcus Harris has gone big again, hitting Tom Helm for 12 off one over as he moves on to 144 not out.

Colin Ackermann is also regularly finding the boundary rope, he's unbeaten on 67.

Middlesex need a wicket, desperately. The partnership is currently 166.

  8. wicket

Brook out at Old Traffordpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 180-6, Lancashire 509-9 dec

Matt Parkinson makes the big breakthrough.

Harry Brook is trapped LBW for 52.

New man in is teenager Harry Duke. If he could repeat his first-innings half-century that would cheer up the Tykes. Do not back against him.

Parky looks a lot happier as he takes his first wicket since prising out Adam Lyth yesterday evening.

Four more poles needed for the Red Rose.

  9. wicket

Joe Clarke out at Edgbastonpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Clarke st Burgess b Hannon-Dalby 20 (Notts 79-4 v Warwicks. Target 309 to win)

Joe Clarke is gone at Edgbaston - and his mode of dismissal is a rare but spectacular sight . . . a brilliant legside stumping off a fast bowler, Michael Burgess standing up to Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

    Fabulous glovework from Burgess,

No consolation for Clarke that, in a one-day game, it would have been called a wide.

Notts will do well to win from here. Six wickets still needed for the Bears.

Notts skipper Steven Mullaney comes out to join Lyndon James.

  10. 50 runs

50 for Harry Brookpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 172-5, Lancashire 509-9 dec

Harry Brook goes to his half-century.

A fifth of the season for the young Yorkshireman.

The Tykes need a further 176 runs to make Lancy bat again.

The Red Rose need five wickets.

Just one right now for starters would do for Parkinson, who the commentary team say is looking increasingly irritable.

  11. Parky into the attack against Yorkshirepublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 164-5, Lancashire 509-9 dec

Legspinner Matt Parkinson was supposed to hold the key today - but is so far wicketless.

He has now been reintroduced into the attack for a first over with the new ball, eight overs after it was taken - and Harry Brook has slapped him for four, to move within three of his 50.

Not going to plan for Lancashire.

  12. Postpublished at 14:13 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 204-2 (target 378)

I haven't missed Colin Ackermann's fine sweep to bring up his half-century though.

That's his eighth boundary of the innings, with his 50 coming off a steady 104 balls.

Brilliant from the Leicestershire skipper with the Foxes now 174 runs away from victory.

  13. Postpublished at 14:03 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

The WIFI is back, but my spirit has been crushed.

  14. 100 runs

for Marcus Harrispublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Leicestershire 188-2 (target 378)

    Guys, I've had a disaster.

I'm only covering one game while Ged brings you the action from Old Trafford and Edgbaston. But the WIFI shut down and while I've been trying to fix it Marcus Harris has just reached his century.

I've got no idea how he's done it. I imagine it's been with a boundary - he's in one of those moods, all I know is that it's definitely happened and I missed it.

Still more work to do from the Australian though with Leicestershire needing another 190 to win.

  15. wicket

Another wicket at Edgbastonpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Slater c Burgess b Bresnan 2 (Notts 52-3 v Warwickshire. Target: 309 to win)

Suddenly that 309 target for Notts to win at Edgbaston looks mountainous as Ben Slater follows Ben Duckett back to the hutch.

Tim Bresnan gets his first wicket of the innings as he has Slater caught behind. The left-hander's attempted slash is safely pouched by a jubilant Michael Burgess

Lyndon Jones is the new man at the crease to join Joe Clarke.

How long before Notts feel the need to stop thinking about winning and start battening down the hatches?

  16. wicket

Duckett goes for 23 at Edgbastonpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Duckett c Yates b Briggs 23 (Notts 48-2 v Warwickshire. Target: 309 to win)

A second wicket for Warwickshire as Ben Duckett is out for 23.

He only lasted 14 balls - four of which went to the boundary.

Spinner Danny Briggs makes the breakthrough.

  17. wicket

Tom Bailey strikes at Old Traffordpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Hill b Bailey 18 (Yorkshire 159 & 151-5, Lancashire 509-9 dec)

Tom Bailey takes just three deliveries to get a wicket with the new ball.

George Hills is gone for 18. New man is Dom Bess.

  18. new ball

Back underway again at Old Traffordpublished at 13:44 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Yorkshire 159 & 151-4, Lancashire 509-9 dec

New ball taken at Old Trafford.

  19. Pears pacemen prove their worthpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

Worcestershire (421) beat Derbyshire (270 & 128) by an innings and 23 runs

    Dan Wheeler
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

Perhaps the most telling performers in Worcestershire's first win of the season were their two main pacemen, youngster Dillon Pennington and West Indies quickie Alzarri Joseph.

Pennington twice registered career-best figures twice to claim a nine-wicket match haul.

The 22-year-old wants to lose that 'young and promising' tag and prove he has added some real fast-bowling nous - persistently challenging batters on and around off stump with a hint of away swing - to his insatiable willingness to charge in as quickly as he can for as long as he can.

    Alzarri JosephImage source, PA Media

To accompany him, Joseph signed off his short spell with the Pears by taking the match-winning wicket courtesy of another belting catch in the slips by Daryl Mitchell.

The West Indian hasn't had the best of surfaces to work on but reserved his most impressive spells for his farewell appearance. Pace and hostility, all with a graceful effortlessness.

  20. Could go either way at Edgbastonpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 30 May 2021

    Warwickshire 341 & 264, Notts 297 & 34-1

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM

In the best weather of the season so far, both sides still have winning chances with two sessions to play - but will have to earn it.

Warwickshire appeared to bat without any eye on a potential declaration, yet still accumulated runs at four an over as Michael Burgess and Danny Briggs extended their vital partnership to 103.

74 overs remained in the game when Notts began their second innings, requiring 309 for victory.

Oliver Hannon-Dalby and his chorus line were in near-disbelief when their claim that Haseeb Hameed had edged a catch behind was turned down but, in the next over, Liam Norwell's appeals for a similar dismissal had a better result for the Bears.
