    Hampshire skipper James Vince goes to 50 from 88 balls with a boundary off Luke Fletcher to third man. It came off a thick edge but Vince was in control of the stroke and the ball landed in front of the diving second slip before running away to the rope.

    There's a boundary in the final over for Emilio Gay as the Northants openers survive a four-over mini-session at Wantage Road.

    It's very much been Durham's day, having extended their overnight 108-4 to 400 all out - with Matty Potts (81) and Liam Trevaskis (77 not out) sharing a stand of 149.

    It's a ninth-wicket record for the county against Northants, beating the 87 by Dean Jones and Simon Hughes at Stockton-on-Tees in 1992.

    The visitors lead by 207.

    What a game Luke Wells is having.

    Unbelievable from the batsman and part-time leg-spinner who now has 3-1 from three overs.

    Azhar Ali, the former Pakistan captain who was brought up playing spin, is completely outfoxed by a ripper and stumped as he loses his balance.

    And this all comes for Wells after he scored a century in the first innings.

    James Vince and Liam Dawson bring up a 50 partnership and the former celebrates by cutting Steven Mullaney for four.

    The start of the next over sees Vince squeeze Joey Evison through square leg for four more and he follows it with a sumptuous straight drive that brings another boundary.

    Vince has 37, Dawson 26 and the lead is 163.

    Durham have been bowled out for 400 at Northampton - but that's a lead of 217. Matty Potts made 81 and Liam Trevaskis was 77 not out, while Ben Sanderson took 4-41.

    Surrey are in trouble on 90-6 at the Kia Oval, despite Hashim Amla's unbeaten 49. They trail Essex by 349.

    In Division Three, John Simpson has completed a 97-ball 50 for Middlesex, who are 215-6, a lead of 188 over Worcestershire.

    Leicestershire are now 274-2 against Sussex, with Hassan Azad 111 not out and Lewis Hill on 103 - they are 85 behind.

    Jordan Cox is now 43 not out for Kent, who are 118-1 against Derbyshire, a lead of 247.

    Great bowling from Craig Miles who has Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth edging straight to first slip where Tim Bresnan takes his second catch of the innings.

    Gary Ballance joins Dawid Malan (three) in the middle. Balance top-scored for the hosts in the first innings with 58. Yorkshire desperately need him to do something similar again.

    The White Rose county need a further 206 runs to win.

    It's been a good one for Gloucestershire, who picked up the final four Glamorgan wickets for 45 during the morning - with Eddie Byrom last to go for 78 - and then made a promising start to their reply.

    Chris Dent went for 75, but Graeme van Buuren is 65 not out and Ben Wells has 23 - the visitors trail by 85.
