That 53 not out from Danny Briggs has had a potentially massive impact on the title race.
Aside from new Division Two champions Essex bowling out Northants for 41, the visitors' lowest County Championship total in 75 years, what else has been going on in the lower divisions this morning?
Away from the wicket taking carnage elsewhere in the country, One-Day Cup winners Glamorgan have moved serenely on from their overnight 379-4 to 442-5 against Surrey, for the loss of just one wicket, Kiran Carlson for 69, leaving him frustrated, just 72 short of his 1,000 runs for the season. But Chris Cooke is homing in a century.
Gloucestershire have moved on from 146-6 to 194-9 to build on their slim overnight lead against Durham - but it won't be a massive win and they have lost three wickets.
In Division Three, Leicestershire are yet to remove Jake Libby (56) and nightwatchman Charlie Morris (30) at New Road, where Worcestershire have reached 103-1.
Derbyshire, 271-5 overnight, have reached 448-5 against Sussex and Kent have collapsed from 82-4 overnight to be bowled out for 138 by Middlesex at Canterbury.
That earns the visitors a nine-run lead at halfway in this game which will decide who finishes top of Division Three.
It has been a chaotic 70 minutes of cricket this morning, but it feels like the right time to see the impact it has made on the table.

If Hampshire go on to win, they can reach a maximum of 77.5 points. If Warwickshire win, the maximum they can achieve is 78. Therefore if the Bears defeat Somerset, they would win the Championship by half a point.

The Warwickshire first innings is all over at Edgbaston as Craig Miles becomes Craig Overton's fifth victim - and his second 'caught and bowled' of the morning.
Half-centurion Danny Briggs is left stranded on 53.

You know the drill, right line, right length, hint of away movement, faint edge from batsman Will Fraine and Tom Moores takes the catch.
A wicket maiden for Fletcher, whose figures read 6-3-12-3 and it is 66 Championship wickets this summer.

A Danny Briggs six swatted over midwicket secures Warwickshire's fourth batting bonus point.
That will not have gone down well on Merseyside.
20 off that over from former Yorkshire fast bowler Jack Brooks.
And it all means that, if Warwickshire now claim maximum bowling points (surely a formality against this Somerset batting line-up!) and go on to win this game, then they will be champions.

Adam Lyth makes the fatal mistake of not offering a shot to Brett Hutton and he is given out LBW.
Missing out on that extra batting point by four runs is so frustrating because they are already well into the Yorkshire batting.

Danny Lamb's resistance lasts only three balls before he tentatively prods one to Joe Weatherley at second slip. His earlier one was brilliant, this was as comfortable as they get at slip.
Four wickets now for Barker in the innings.
Lancashire 47-6 v Hampshire 143
Is this the morning that the Championship swings decisively in Hampshire's favour?
Lancashire captain Dane Vilas tries to be positive but his attempted drive only picks out Liam Dawson low down at mid-off.
It's a third wicket for Keith Barker and a second bowling point for Hants, who are having a spectacular morning.

Pretty limp, pathetic stuff from Northamptonshire this morning, best evidenced by Josh Cobb’s horrible swipe at his first ball to be caught.
A good crowd is feeling decidedly let down BUT it’s a third innings victory for Essex in four games and they win the Second Division.
Sam Cook finished with 10 wickets in the game (10-41) and has further pushed his case for international recognition.
There IS a trophy for them to lift but it is not at the ground yet!
The last we heard, the trophy was still at Lord’s…
