He is out by a frame, maybe. It is as tight as they come. I am giving it out.

The throw from Pope was brilliant but Root missed the swing at the stumps with the first attempt.

I think Conway has got his bat just on the line, so I think he's out, but it's impossible to tell...

Oh, I think Joe Root's messed this up...

  4. NZ 377-9published at 122.3 overs

Wagner gave Conway the biggest of cuddles when he brought up his double century. He actually looked more excited than Conway did!

An excellent dive from Ollie Pope at deep mid-wicket stops Neil Wagner hoicking a four, but has Devon Conway been run out?!

What an innings! Conway has got to 200 with a six. The crowd is all on its feet. It was a top-edge and there were two men out in the deep but when it is your day...

200 for Conwaypublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 3 June 2021

    Brought up with a six!!

What an absolutely brilliant innings. Devon Conway ducks his head, pulls Mark Wood in slightly loose fashion, and still manages to clear the two men in the deep to move to a double century on Test debut at Lord's.

    Simply stunning.

    Shot!

Devon Conway reminds us that he, too, can hit big with a barnstorming drive for four. Gorgeous.

Wagner has timed that beautifully and Broad looks furious.

  13. NZ 365-9published at 121 overs

An absolute beauty from Broad beats Wagner's outside edge but Wagner wins the battle with a glorious flick off the legs that bounces down to the boundary for four.

The camera keeps showing us Rory Burns' hair. I really wish it wouldn't.

Conway has just gone above Shikhar Dhawan into seventh place in the list of highest scores on debut in a men's Test.

    This was good...

...and this was not so good.

  17. NZ 360-9published at 120 overs

Mark Wood is bowling to the sort of field that Wagner himself likes to set.

He flicks a single off his hip to move to 20 from 12 balls.

  18. NZ 358-9published at 119.3 overs

Two bouncers from Wood, two big, booming swings from Wagner that are nowhere near the ball.
