Ah.
Ollie Robinson, 4-69 to his name, gets Tim Southee to toe-end a drive towards Stuart Broad at mid-off and Broad... just drops it. There's no other way to describe it. He, for some reason, decides to go low to the ground to take the catch and the ball bounces off his wrist and trickles behind him.

Ollie Robinson has just received cheers and rapturous applause as he went to field in front of the Mound Stand.
I did briefly enjoy whenever Ollie Pope stood next to Kyle Jamieson.

So Jamieson c Crawley b Robinson 9 was the “tallest wicket" ever?
David, Co. Durham
Tim Southee made his Test debut in 2008 and has still played 26 fewer Tests than Joe Root, who first played for England in 2012. You really don't realise how limited some players' opportunities are until you see it laid out like that.

I wouldn't dream of spreading rumours but Jimmy Anderson's tan is looking a bit... orange.
He beats Tim Southee first up before giving him an easy single. He's looking a tad grumpy.

It was a soft wicket straight after the break and that gets you going again. It gives you that extra bit of momentum.
Jimmy Anderson is back into the attack.
Tim Southee, a man not known for hanging around, has strolled out to bat.
The worst thing about this New Zealand side is we're being robbed of Trent Boult's unique batting.

It has almost done Jamieson with lack of pace. He got a toe-end on it. Southee will come in and play a few shots too.

That is a wonderful piece of fielding.
Jamieson c Crawley b Robinson 9 (NZ 317-8)
My word, what a catch!
Zak Crawley has just taken a stunner of a running catch to dismiss big fella Kyle Jamieson. Ollie Robinson dug it in short, Jamieson swung after it as he has all match, and ended up hoicking it high into the air. Crawley ran forward, dived and got both hands underneath it to take a superb grab.

Devon Conway could become the fourth player to carry their bat on Test debut but first in the first innings.
Ollie Robinson picks up where he left off before lunch, with Devon Conway scrabbling a leg bye.
Right. Cricket!
Devon Conway will resume on 179, with Kyle Jamieson on 7.

If when selecting their team England's decision was between the extra pace of Wood or the spinner in Jack Leach then you would probably now say they made the right decision.

It was great to see Mark Wood getting some rewards. England hauled themselves back into it. If they are batting by mid-afternoon they will think they have got out of jail a bit.
Mark Wood got all his wickets in his slowest spell of the game.
