That is a wonderful shot from Will Young. He gets four, and he deserves at least that. It was a beautiful shot.

Young 49 (128)
Hello! Will Young unfurls a gorgeous cover drive for four.
James Anderson might not mind it too much if Young continues to swing away.
He will mind if he keeps middling it like that.
Young moves to 49.

It's going all over the place out there. Anderson has got the ball on a piece of string.
And now Stuart Broad has Ross Taylor driving with no footwork, the ball just missing the edge.
Taylor is having a torrid time against England's two greats.

Josh: JCB ee Villiers.
James Anderson is trying to unbalance Ross Taylor, exploiting his tendency for his head to fall over to the off side.
Taylor defends well until the final delivery, which is a peach. Taylor was completely squared up, driving loosely at it and the ball zips past the outside edge.
Here's Anderson again...

Brett Mills: Not to be overly sentimental but the roar when Jimmy takes his first wicket today may be one of the most reassuring noises that we can start to put the last 15 months behind us.

Stuart Broad floats down an outswinger before jagging the next one back in sharply. Not jagged enough though and Will Young wisely leaves on line.
Young safely negotiates the rest of the over. Another maiden.

The bowlers have got more of a spring in their step. England have got to make the most of it because they're not out of it.
Ross Taylor defends a couple and leaves the last one well alone.
Another peach of an outswinger that zips past the outside edge.
Ross Taylor is a superb player but you feel sometimes that many batters aren't good enough to nick James Anderson.
The best balls he's ever bowled might well have not got him wickets.
Oooshk. Ross Taylor wildly flays at an outswinger that just evades the outside edge.
Cheers Callum.
Funny that Devon Conway went caught Crawley bowled Broad after all.
The crowd are really up now.
James Anderson to steam in against Ross Taylor...

Broad is feeling an opportunity. He's asking the Hollies for noise, whipping them up from the end of his run-up.

Broad has gone past Courtney Walsh into sixth place in the all-time wicket-takers' list, with 520.
Stuart Broad is trying to get the crowd going here. He's gesturing to them, and they respond. The volume goes up a few notches.
That's me done for the day. Jack Skelton will talk you through the remainder.

He played so beautifully up to there. He mustn't have known where the field was.
