Where has that come from!?! He is absolutely devastated.

    Wow.

It's a T20-esque shot from Devon Conway, just the elaborate flamingo-type flick, and he thinks he's absolutely mullered it, and he has, but straight down the throat of Zak Crawley at deep square leg.

It's a good catch from Crawley.

That ends a 122-run stand for New Zealand. England needed that.

"Sent it in yesterday" doesn't quite do it justice.

He's sent it in seven times in two days...

Devon Conway is playing superbly. He judges a leave to absolute perfection before keeping the strike with a perfect defensive shot.

Short and wide from James Anderson and Will Young crunches away a cut for three. An England fielder in the covers did well to get a hand on that and slow it down.

That is Young's highest score in Test cricket. He's up to 44.

It'll be James Anderson from the other end.

Right, England have got to make the most of this ball now because it's starting to do things now.

Has Will Young nicked that? He has, you know. But it falls well short of James Bracey. Is he too deep?

Bracey didn't seem sure, but Joe Root is stood there nodding his head going "he did, he did".

Stuart Broad has definitely got a bit more movement out of this replacement ball.

Stuart Broad will get us going.

The two sides are making their way back out to the middle.

New Zealand will be hoping these two can just keep going, while England will be hoping they pick up a number of wickets.

There are still 34 overs left in the day, so there's plenty of time for either side to take control.

Devon Conway has been a thorn in England's side once again, though.

He survived a catch in the slips on 22, with the on-field and TV umpire deciding that the ball didn't carry to Zak Crawley at third slip. He's been chanceless since.
