Devon Conway pushed at that, he's caught the England disease.
Conway c Bracey b Broad 6 (NZ 6-1)
Right - so if I talk up every Kiwi batter, they get out next ball they face? Is that the trick?
Tom Latham guides it away for three and Devon Conway faces the last ball of the over.
And Stuart Broad teases him with a decent ball in the channel, Conway pokes at it tentatively and nicks off to James Bracey.
That also shows up another issue England have - Devon Conway is playing his second Test and looks very assured.
Granted, he's 29, has had a long, successful first class career and knows his game very well.
I don't think England have anyone like that to call on.
So you go to players in their early 20s still learning their craft.

I don't mean to keep criticising the technique and mindset, but that was a perfect example from Devon Conway there. He just left, and then the straighter one he played with a dead bat.
Target 38
First runs for New Zealand as Devon Conway guides it nicely down to third man and scampers three.
Neil might be a tad worried that New Zealand have left the first eight balls alone...

I want to thank Olly Stone. He knew it would be grossly unfair to the crowd not to get a refund. Now NZ can knock these off in 12 overs and the refund should follow. Let's look for some leg side half volleys to make it easy.

Tom Latham didn't play at a single ball in that over.
James Anderson bowls a maiden over, with Tom Latham not having to play at one at all.
Anderson shapes it away from Latham, who leaves it alone.
I'm a tad disappointed New Zealand aren't trying to win this in seven balls.
They're too nice.
Joe Root is FUMING.
James Anderson has the ball in hand.
Tom Latham on strike.

I don't know what to say about that really.
It is almost funny. You shouldn't laugh, but crikey.
Andy and I doing some shared straw clutching there.

Let's not forget that England did once bowl New Zealand out for 26.
Those mental scars from 1955 will surely come to the fore.
New Zealand need 38 runs to win the Test and take the series 1-0.
The Kiwis were dismissed for just 26 by England in 1955, the lowest Test score of all time.
Does Stuart Broad have 8-15 in him again?

Kieran: England's cricketers definitely want to be at home to cheer on the football lads. Admirable really.

First of all, it was a good delivery. It sort of bit into the pitch and seamed away from Olly Stone.
Olly Stone has proven he can handle the bat a bit in this Test.
Him versus Trent Boult isn't really a fair fight though. Most of this England line-up against quality fast bowling isn't really a fair fight, come to think of it.
And England still have Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins to face this year.
I hope Ben Stokes is necking knock-off famous chicken meals and certain brands of chocolate bars now.

The over rate is good this morning at least.
