    Notts Outlaws 18-0 (1 over) v Yorkshire Vikings 60-3 (7 overs)

This is how it feels Yorkshire should've gone about things with the bat.

Peter Trego's intentions are clear from the very start with back-to-back boundaries and Alex Hales then gets involved with a four before Trego reaches the rope once more.

It's 18 off the first over from Dom Bess and Notts need 43 from 36 to win.

  2. Notts begin run chasepublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Notts Outlaws 0-0 v Yorkshire Vikings 60-3 (7 overs)

Out come right-handers Alex Hales and Peter Trego as Notts Outlaws look to score 61 runs from their seven overs at Trent Bridge and guarantee a home T20 Blast quarter-final.

Dom Bess will open with some spin for Yorkshire. Every ball counts in this reduced seven over per side format.

    Durham 176-9 v Derbyshire 130-4 (16 overs)

Still a tough ask you feel this for Derbyshire as boundaries continue to dry up.

Can Durham close out a win to hold on to their spot in the top four of the North Group?

    Sussex Sharks 75-4 (12 overs) v Essex Eagles 146-9 (20 overs)

Essex's bowlers have really brought them back into the game here.

Spinners Aron Nijjar and Simon Harmer have kept it tight while picking up wickets in the middle overs, while Paul Walter has conceded just five runs in his first over.

Sussex need to go at nine an over now and will have to start hitting out soon.

Adam Lyth (26) and Jordan Thompson (28) did most of the legwork for Yorkshire but some great bowling by Samit Patel (1-7) helped Notts limit the visitors to 60-3.

Luke Fletcher went for 19 in his second over but otherwise the Outlaws will be very pleased with that, and should be favourites.

  6. wicket

WICKET Du Plooy b Doneathy 47published at 21:13 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Durham 176-9 v Derbyshire 116-4 (14 overs)

    Big wicket at Chester-le-Street.

Leus du Plooy looked like he was set to see it home for Derbyshire but he falls for 47 after getting an attempted scoop shot completely wrong.

Debutant Luke Doneathy bowls him to make it a tricky eqaution now for Derbyshire with six overs left.

    61 needes off 36 balls.

  7. wicket

WICKET Wiese c Plom b Nijjar 2published at 21:13 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Sussex Sharks 67-4 (10 overs) v Essex Eagles 146-9 (20 overs)

Sussex have slipped just behind the required rate after a tight over from Aron Nijjar, who concedes just two runs before David Wiese is caught off the final ball.

The Sharks need 80 runs from the final 10 overs.

Delray Rawlins joins Bopara in the middle. The Sharks don't have much wriggle room now.

  8. LANCASHIRE BEAT NORTHANTS BY EIGHT WICKETSpublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 9 July 2021
    Breaking

    Lancashire Lightning 144-2 (15.4 overs) v Northamptonshire Steelbacks 142-8 (20 overs)

Lancashire seal victory in style as Dane Vilas hammers a six off Graeme White, and it's a straightforward win by eight wickets.

A 66 for Finn Allen and Keaton Jennings' 54 got them most of the way to their target after Northants could only manage 142-8.

It keeps Lightning in with a chance of qualifying from the North Group.

  9. wicket

WICKET Head st Wheater b Harmer 5published at 21:08 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Sussex Sharks 64-3 (8.3 overs) v Essex Eagles 146-9 (20 overs)

This one is really in the balance now.

Travis Head dances down the wicket to Simon Harmer, and Adam Wheater has an easy stumping.

Sussex bat deep, so will remain confident of getting the win.

David Wiese is the next man in to join Ravi Bopara, who is 34 not out.

  10. Somerset sinking fastpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Hampshire 175-6 v Somerset 60-7 (10.2 overs)

This game won't be going much longer.

Somerset are floundering fast as they slump to 60-7. A succession of poor shots and loose drives give Hampshire simple catching practice.

  11. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

Notts Outlaws v Yorkshire Vikings 53-1 (6 overs)

That's much more like it for Yorkshire, though Luke Fletcher will be disappointed.

Three wides and three boundaries results in 19 off the over and there are six more balls to come before Notts get their turn.

The Vikings are just one wicket down so this final over, to be bowled by Dane Paterson, should be lively.

  12. Wood falls to give Durham hopepublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Durham 176-9 v Derbyshire 100-3 (11.3 overs)

Much-needed breakthrough for Durham to stem the flow of Derbyshire runs.

Tom Wood departs for 28 as Graham Clark takes the catch off debutant Paul van Meekeren.

78 needed off 51 balls for the visitors from here.

  15. Postpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

Notts Outlaws v Yorkshire Vikings 36-1 (5 overs)

It's an excellent over from Samit Patel, who concedes just three runs to leave the Yorkshire batsmen frustrated.

Figures of 1-7 from his two overs is seriously good.

The visitors have two overs left and need to get a move on if they're to test the reigning T20 Blast champions and North Group leaders.

  16. Wood & Du Plooy op top for Derbyshirepublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 9 July 2021

    Durham 176-9 v Derbyshire 92-2 (10 overs)

A fine 50 partnership between Tom Wood (28 not out) and Leus du Plooy (33 not out) has put Derbyshire in a decent position.

Halfway through their chase of 177, they need another 85 to win off 60 balls.

Notts Outlaws v Yorkshire Vikings 31-1 (3.3 overs)

Yorkshire are at the halfway point in their seven overs and Adam Lyth and Jordan Thompson are beginning to find those boundaries.

But a lot can change very quickly in such a short format.

    What's a good score here?

    Sussex 40-2 (5.2 overs) v Essex Eagles 146-9 (20 overs)

Just as Ravi Bopara and Harrison Ward look like they are forming a solid partnership, Sussex throw in a run-out.

The batsmen look for a third run which isn't there, and Jack Plom catches out Ward, who'd scored four fours in his 19-ball innings, at the keeper's end.

Travis Head is the new man in.
