Hampshire have won the toss and elected to bat first as Chris Wood captains in the absence of James Vince on England duty.

Somerset still look strong contenders even without Craig Overton and Lewis Gregory in their ranks.

The Green and Golds have won seven of their 11 T20 Blast games this season and have sold all their permitted tickets for this one.

Second-placed Yorkshire are likely to join them in the last eight but will be looking to improve on their record of just one win from four away games in this year’s competition.

The bad news... it's started to rain in Nottingham!

Kent have a one-point lead at the top of the table, and are two points ahead of the hosts. The visitors have won the toss and will field.

Surrey were runners-up in the Blast last year and will have the backing of a vocal Kia Oval crowd as they look for a second win in three T20 outings.

England's ODI Covid issues have deprived Surrey of Will Jacks and Kent of Sam Billings and Zak Crawley.

Singapore international Tim David, a right-handed batsman, makes his debut for the hosts.
