    Lancashire Lightning 19-0 (3 overs) v Northamptonshire Steelbacks 142-8 (20 overs)

It had been a solid start from Northants, containing the Lancashire openers, until Finn Allen smacked a flat six that almost took out Lightning's mascot giraffe.

So it's pretty even, all told, with Allen (15 not out) and Keaton Jennings (four not out) largely biding their time for now.
