    Somerset 187-6 v Surrey 27-0

Two huge back-to-back sixes from Surrey and England's Jason Roy off the bowling of Marchant de Lange.

for Jordan Coxpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Kent 140-4 v Middlesex

Jordan Cox comes down the track and lofts Nathan Sowter away for six to bring up a 35-ball 50. It's been an excellent innings for his side and with three overs to go, Kent will still be hoping to go beyond 170.

  4. Postpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Leicestershire 2-1 v Derbyshire 209-6

When you are chasing over 200, you need a good start. Leicestershire don't get one as Scott Steel tries to smear Logan van Beek's opening delivery to goodness knows where and is caught by Billy Godleman at mid-off. A night to forget for Mr Steel.

  5. Postpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 10-0

England's Jonny Bairstow takes guard after a single by Adam Lyth and punches his first delivery through the covers off the back foot for four.

Three balls later, another four, but this one is less authoritative as tries to drive a wide one from Brydon Carse and only manages a thick edge.

Handy opening over for the Vikings, though.

  8. wicket

Hales gone at Trent Bridgepublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 1-1 v Birmingham Bears 229-5

Alex Hales is cauight by Bears skipper Will Rhodes for a second-ball duck at Trent Bridge as Danny Briggs claims his 200th wicket in T20 cricket.

Brilliant start for the Bears - and deserved reward for the bravery of starting with a spinner.

The Bears must have had a scout at New Road the other night watching Hales and Joe Clarke tuck into the Worcestershire pace attack early on.

You'd have thought it would take a big knock from Hasles fopr Notts to get anywhere close tonight - but rhey still have big hitters like Clarke, Ben Duckett and new man in Peter Trego, who has already hit two sixes.

  9. D'Oliveira out for 42published at 20:01 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Northants v Worcestershire 132-3

    Shot!

He's helped steady the ship for Hampshire after the loss of four early wickets.

    16 overs gone.

  12. Carse boosts Durham totalpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire - end of innings

That's a lot healthier than seemed likely at one stage, and it's thanks to Brydon Carse, who makes 51 off 31 balls for Durham, with two sixes and four fours.

Carse was caught at long-on from the final ball of the innings as Jordan Thompson returned figures of 4-44 for the Vikings.

  13. Bears set huge Trent Bridge targetpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts v Birmingham Bears 229-5

All over for the Bears after knocking up their highest T20 score away from Edgbaston.

They have only twice before bettered their total of 229-5 - when they hit 242-2 against Derbyshire in 2015 and 231-5 against Northants in 2018 - but they were both at Edgbaston.

Ed Pollock (62 off 13 balls), Sam Hain (53 not out) and Carlos Brathwaite (44 off 18) were the stars, hitting 11 of the Bears' whopping 13 sixes between them.

Just 230 to win then for holders Notts, who have never been caned for a bigger total in 19 summers of T20 cricket.

Leicestershire v Derbyshire 209-6 - end of innings

A fantastic final over for Derbyshire at Grace Road as they add 24 to boost their total beyond 200 for only the seventh time.

Matt Critchley hits two sixes and two fours off Ben Mike to finish unbeaten on 80 not out from 45 balls - his highest score in a T20 game.

  16. Surrey need 188 to winpublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Somerset 187-6 v Surrey

A big total from Somerset who finish on 187-6 against a very strong Surrey side. Tom Abell was the standout with 69 from 44.

We're in for some chase folks.

  17. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

This is what it feels like to take a wicket when you are 16 years old and making your first-team debut.

Well bowled, Archie Lenham, who took 1-34 from his four overs for Sussex Sharks against Gloucestershire.

His victim? Gloucestershire skipper Jack Taylor.
