  • Eight T20 Blast matches

  • Wins for Surrey, Sussex, Durham, Birmingham Bears & Derbyshire

  • Hampshire, Kent & Worcestershire also win

  1. Postpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Kent 178-8 v Middlesex 4-2

We are under way again at the Spitfire Ground and after four wickets in an over by Chris Green, including a hat-trick, at the end of Kent's innings, Joe Denly strikes in his first for the home side.

Stevie Eskinazi is the man to go as Ollie Robinson completes a catch behind the stumps at the second attempt.

More bad news for Middlesex in the next over as Paul Stirling hits his first ball, bowled by James Logan, to long-off and is caught by Alex Blake. Eoin Morgan now at the crease.

  2. 50 runs

50 and out for Ben Duckettpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 126-4 v Bears 229-5

Ben Duckett's half century comes up in 25 balls.

10 ballls longer than Will Jacks at Lord's last night but still pretty decent. Two sixes and seven fours.

But then spinner Jake Lintott has him caught in the next over with his first ball, caught by Ed Pollock.

Lintott matches Carlos Brathwaite and Tim Bresnan by aiso taking a wicket with his first ball of the night.

Steve Mullaney comes in to hit a six and a four as Lintott's wicket-taking over in the end goes for 13.

After 11 overs, Notts are actually ahead on Duckworth-Lewis! Surely not?

  3. Postpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Leicestershire 73-3 v Derbyshire 209-6

The Foxes are struggling now following the loss of Arron Lilley (29) and Josh Inglis in successive overs. Lilley was caught at long-on and Inglis at square leg, leaving Colin Ackermann and Lewis Hill to steady the innings. The required rate, with 12 overs left, is already 11.42.

  4. wicket

Richard Levi departs first ballpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Northants 0-1 v Worcestershire 185-7

Great start for Worcestershire as Josh Tongue removes Richard Levi first ball.

Bad start for Northants in pursuit of 185-7.

Ricardo Vasconcelos is the new man in to join Adam Rossington.

  5. 100 runs

up for Surreypublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Somerset 187-6 v Surrey 100-2

Three figures already for Surrey. It's kind of unfair just how good their batting line up is.

Laurie Evans has raced to 34 from 18, while Sam Curran has just smashed a maximum to move on to 18.

    88 needed from 72.

  6. 50 runs

50 up for Duckett and Moorespublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 92-3 v Bears 229-5

Ben Duckett and Tom Moores reach their 50 partnership off 31 balls as Notts battle back from the loss of those three quick wickets.

After taking 14 off an over from Carlos Brathwaite, they take another 12 off Craig Miles' first over.

    92-3 off nine. Still hope.

But 137 off 11 is still more than 13 an over needed.

  7. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Essex 1-0 v Hampshire 155-6

Openers Tom Westley and Will Buttleman will get Essex's chase started.

A slightly under-par score from Hampshire I reckon on a night with some big, big totals.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Malan b Trevaskis 10 (Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 44-2)

    Dawid MalanImage source, Rex Features

Dawid Malan won't be proud of that. Slow left-armer Liam Trevaskis sends down a good-length delivery which the England batsman tries to slog-sweep over mid-wicket. He misses and his off stump is flattened. Maybe a touch of turn and a big wicket for Durham.

  9. HAT-TRICK FOR GREENpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 11 June 2021
    Breaking

Kent 178-8 v Middlesex - end of innings

Kent lose Jordan Cox for 64 at the start of the final over, following a stand of 123 with Jack Leaning, who hits the fourth six of his innings next ball to reach 64 before slicing a catch into the off-side.

Out comes everyone's favourite over-40, Darren Stevens, and immediately has to walk back again as he is stumped from his first delivery.

Can Chris Green complete a hat-trick? Yes, he can as Matt Milnes top edges the final delivery to third man. It's four in the over and 5-32 for the Aussie spinner, but it's still a handy total for the home side.

  10. Worcestershire set testing targetpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Northants v Worcestershire 185-7

Worcestershire's innings is closed at Wantage Road and they have set their hosts Northants a testing target.

Moeen Ali (52) and Brett D'Oliveira (43) were the visitors' chief run getters.

Ben Sanderson (3-21 off three overs) and Tom Taylor (3-33) took the bowling honours.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Jason Roy c Banton b Davey 30 (Surrey 63-2)

    He had looked unstoppable!

Jason Roy edges one straight up into the air and keeper Tom Banton takes a simple catch.

Roy's set a solid platform with 30 from just 13 balls. But who will take Surrey over the line as Sam Curran joins Laurie Evans in the middle? Surrey need 119 from 85.

  12. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Gloucestershire 177-7 v Sussex 36-3

Two more Gloucestershire wickets to tell you about.

First, Ravi Bopara falls for a golden duck, caught and bowled by David Payne.

Then David Weise departs for 11, bowled by Josh Shaw.

Suddenly 143 runs from 94 balls seems a long way away.

  13. Duckett keeps Notts interestedpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 70-3 v Birmingham Bears 229-5

Ben Duckett keeps up Notts' slim hopes alive with 17 off Dan Mousley's over as the hosts end the powerplay on 70-3.

Tom Moores is the new man in.

  14. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 33-1

Jonny Bairstow looks like he is in the mood this evening. His last three fours have been a straight drive, a thunderous cover drive and a delicate dab down to third man. He is 28 not out, but Yorkshire's asking rate after a quarter of their innings is almost 10 an over.

  15. 50 runs

for Surreypublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Somerset 187-6 v Surrey 50-1

The 50 comes up for Surrey at the end of the fourth over as Jason Roy smashes another four.

The England opener moves on to 23 from 11. Surrey have started at a run rate above 13 per over. Power.

  16. 6 runs

Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Leicestershire 44-1 v Derbyshire 209-6

The Foxes have responded well to losing Scott Steel to the first ball of their run-chase and Australia signing Josh Inglis has just produced a brilliantly-timed ramp shot for six off Fynn Hudson-Prentice.

He is 20 not out and Arron Lilley is on 23 and a scoring rate of 11 an over after four will do very nicely.

  17. Essex need 156 to winpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Essex v Hampshire 155-6

Hampshire's innings comes to a close with the visitors finishing on 155-6.

Joe Weatherley made 42 not out. Not many others got close to his total.

  18. wicket

Notts three down at Trent Bridgepublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Notts 40-3 v Birmingham Bears 229-5

    Carlos BrathwaiteImage source, Rex Features

Another one bites the dust, Joe Clarke this time, for 8, as Carlos Brathwaite shows he can do it with the ball too.

And then Peter Trego gives Will Rhodes a second catch off Tim Bresnan.

Like Brathwaite, Bresnan did it with his first ball of the match.

Long way back now for Notts. Not the start they'd hoped for. 40-3 after 4.1 overs.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Travis Head c Payne b Shaw 2 (Gloucs 177-7 v Sussex 12-1)

    Gloucestershire wicketImage source, Rex Features

    Another international falls!

Australian Travis Head chips one to the fielder so in comes Ravi Bopara at three. Sussex remember are chasing 178 to win.

  20. Postpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

    Durham 181-8 v Yorkshire 12-1

We now have two England batsmen together for Yorkshire, with Dawid Malan having joined Jonny Bairstow at the downfall of Adam Lyth. It was a fairly tame dismissal as the left-hander gave himself room against Matty Potts, but only succeeded in hitting the ball high enough for Cameron Bancroft to run round and take a good catch. Lyth went for one.
