Adam Hose has just hit Luke Fletcher out of Trent Bridge. That massive six brings up Birmingham Bears' fifty in the fifth over.

But next ball he's gone lbw swinging across the line. Hose made 32 off 17 balls.

Notts Outlaws v Birmingham Bears 40-0

It's been a rapid start for Bears openers Adam Hose and Ed Pollock.

40 off the first four overs with Hose doing the majority of the scoring.

    Gloucestershire 30-1 v Sussex

George Garton has his man as Australian Travis Head takes a smart catch to remove Miles Hammond.

That'll check Gloucestershire's early progress. Ian Cockbain is the new man in.

    Durham 41-0 v Yorkshire

Just one run from David Willey's opening over at the Riverside - 23 from the next, including three fours and a six over square leg by Graham Clark.

It was the second maximum of Clark's innings and he has 33 not out off 15 balls at the end of the third over.

The three toss winners for the 19:00 games have also elected to field first. That's all eight sides putting their opponents in to bat tonight. Surely some of those will regret that decision?

Northants Steelbacks v Worcestershire Rapids - Northants chose to bowl

Essex Eagles v Hampshire Hawks - Essex elected to bowl

Kent Spitfires v Somerset - Middlesex chose to bowl

    Leicestershire v Derbyshire 17-1

Derbyshire have lost their first wicket at Grace Road where Harry Came, having hit the previous two deliveries for four, skied a catch to mid-on off Afghan paceman Naveen-ul-Haq. Came made 10, three overs have been completed.

    Gloucestershire 29-0 v Sussex

Wow, 19 runs in the second over.

Chris Dent punishes Henry Crocombe with three consecutive fours, before Miles Hammond smashes a maximum.

    Great start this from Gloucestershire.

    Durham 1-0 v Yorkshire

With the strength of Yorkshire's top four, Durham are probably going to need a big score here to be competitive. Just a single, though, from David Willey's opening over. Hard to believe it's eight years ago that he took a hat-trick to bowl Northants Steelbacks to their first T20 triumph.

    Tom Banton c Batty b SM Curran 1 (Somerset 2-1 v Surrey)

Somerset's danger man is gone already and it's golden arm Sam Curran with the early wicket.

This one's all about the catch though. A clip from Tom Banton and Surrey skipper Gareth Batty dives superbly to his right at backward point. Take a bow.

    Somerset 0-0 v Surrey

At Taunton, Sam Curran is bowling to Somerset's Tom Banton.

  13. Sussex put faith in youthpublished at 18:25 British Summer Time 11 June 2021

Gloucestershire v Sussex Sharks (18:30 BST)

There may well be more than a few butterflies at Bristol this evening where 16-year-old Archie Lenham will make his T20 Blast debut for Sussex Sharks.

The county believe the spinner is the second youngest player to appear in the competition after Hamidullah Qadri, formerly of Derbyshire, but now with Kent.

“We’ve always got an eye on the future, but Archie’s promotion to the squad has come a bit sooner than expected," head coach James Kirtley told the club website.

"He’s delivered, however. Luke [Wright] and I are very comfortable with Archie in and around the team."

Will Jacks batting against MiddlesexImage source, Rex Features

The main fireworks were at Lord's last night where Will Jacks smashed a 15-ball fifty as Surrey piled up 223-7 - the highest T20 score at the home of cricket - as they beat Middlesex by 54 runs.

Jacks eventually fell for 70 off 24 and although Ireland's Paul Stirling hit a rapid 58 for Middlesex, their run-chase came up well short.

Lancashire Lightning made it two wins out of two as overseas signing Finn Allen hit an unbeaten 73 in a 16-run victory over Leicestershire Foxes.

Australian Marnus Labuschagne made the night's highest score - 93 not out off 56 balls - but Glamorgan still went down by four runs to Gloucestershire, while 2014 winners Birmingham Bears suffered a six-wicket loss to Yorkshire Vikings.
