    Northants 12-0 v Lancashire 130-7

    Leics 207-3 v Yorkshire 21-0

Yorkshire have made a positive start at Grace Road and they certainly needed one. Adam Lyth hits Colin Ackermann down the ground for six and has 17 from eight balls faced at the end of the second over.

  5. Further woes for Nottspublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

    Notts 103-8 (15 overs) Derbyshire

Another frustrating few minutes from a Notts' perspective.

But you have to credit Mattie McKiernan for taking three wickets in quick succession.

First, his delivery sees Tom Moores caught in the deep by Falcons' Tom Wood for 17, before Calvin Harrison is bowled out without scoring, and Luke Fletcher is caught for two.

  6. Rapids step up run-chasepublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

    Durham 178-8 v Worcs 142-1

Great stuff by Brett D'Oliveira, who cross-bats the first ball of a new Scott Borthwick over through the covers for four and pulls the next to the boundary on the other side of the ground. He advances to 61 not out, Jake Libby has 67, and the Rapids need 36 from the last four overs to win.

    Kent 155-6 (17.3 overs) v Essex

Essex get the Kent danger man just as he threatens to cut loose in the closing overs.

Darren Stevens holes out to Dan Lawrence on the square leg boundary off Simon Harmer and then Jordan Cox falls the very next ball to the same fielder as Kent's innings continues to stutter after a fast start.

  8. Postpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

    Durham 178-8 v Worcestershire 131-1

Brett D'Oliveira's 50 apart, that wasn't a bad over for Durham, costing Brydon Carse only six runs. The Rapids need 47 from 30 balls to win this one - we could be in for a close finish.

Darren Stevens often proves to be a thorn in Essex's side.

    Jake LibbyImage source, Rex Features

Jake Libby reaches his fifth T20 half-century and what a way to do it - by pulling a ball from Ben Stokes for six over mid-wicket. It wasn't the most elegant of strokes, but he won't care a jot about that.

It took Libby just 33 deliveries to reach 50 and he celebrates by gloving the next past the despairing Durham keeper and down to fine leg for four.

Worcestershire need 61 to win from the last seven overs.

  13. Lancashire held in checkpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

Northants v Lancashire 130-7 - end of innings

Steven Croft finishes on 35 not out, with Luke Wood the last man to go, run out by Ben Sanderson at the end of the penultimate over.

He failed to get hold of a full toss but set off for a single more in hope than expectation and bowler Sanderson was able to gather the ball and saunter to the other end to run him out.

Somerset meanwhile have made 172-9 against Hampshire with Tom Banton making 77 and Will Smeed (pictured above) 63 not out.

  15. Close, but not quite for Lilleypublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

Leics 207-3 v Yorkshire - end of innings

Unlucky, Arron Lilley, who can only manage a single from the final ball of Leicestershire's innings and finishes 99 not out from 55 deliveries faced.

It's the best T20 score of his career, though, and he hit four sixes and nine fours during his innings.

It's the third time the Foxes have passed 200 in the 2021 Blast - and second time against Yorkshire.

  16. Record-breaker Patel out for Nottspublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 25 June 2021

    Notts 81-5 (10 overs) v Derbyshire

At Trent Bridge last week, Notts' Samit Patel hit 64 not out, then claimed two scalps as he became the first Englishman to do the T20 double of 250 wickets and 5,000 runs.

But tonight, Derbyshire have their revenge and the former England international is out after being caught lbw by Matt Critchley for three.

Joe Clarke managed 36 runs before being caught by Tom Wood, with Ben Duckett and Sol Budinger the other wickets taken.

More great fielding by Northants as Tom Taylor dives to catch Danny Lamb for 20 at mid-off. It's a second wicket for Wayne Parnell, who has 2-22. There are two and a bit overs left as Luke Wood comes to the crease.

A half-century and out for Kent skipper Daniel Bell-Drummond at Chelmsford as Essex continue to check the Spitfires' fast scoring with regular wickets.

Essex captain Simon Harmer takes a brilliant full-stretch diving catch in the deep off Dan Lawrence to dismiss Bell-Drummond a ball after he reached 50 from just 28 balls with five fours and two sixes.
