    Sharma c Mack b Burns 28 (Spirit 108-6)

Three wickets in four balls for Birmingham Phoenix!!!

Deepti Sharma jigs down the wicket to Erin Burns and hoicks the ball into the leg side, square of the wicket, and Katie Mack makes no mistake of taking the catch.

    Rowe b Arlott 0 (Spirit 108-5)

Superb form Emily Arlott! New batter Susie Rowe is completely outdone by a yorker, a ball which pitches by the foot of the batter, and is clean bowled.

Not only was it a yorker, it was a slower delivery which completely deceived Rowe.

We have a game on now.

That's a crucial wicket at this stage of the game.

    Tryon c Elwiss b Arlott 9 (Spirit 108-4)

This one counts as Emily Arlott strikes! A mistimed shot goes into the hands of Georgia Elwiss.

  12. Spirit 104-3published at 23 balls left

    Nearly the breakthrough!

A full toss from Arlott - a ball which does not bounce as it reaches the batter - hits the stumps. But the umpire refers it to the TV umpire who confirms that the ball was above waist height of the batter so is therefore a no-ball.

To add insult to injury, Spirit will now a free hit - meaning the batter can't be lbw, bowled or caught.

  13. Spirit 102-3published at 25 balls left

Deepti Sharma clubs Kirstie Gordon through the leg side, there are cries of "catch it" but it's well out of the reach of the diving fielder.

    Phoenix need something special here.

Spirit need about a run a ball now and that's not a bad position to be in with 30 balls left.

Spirit need 37 runs from 35 balls

Every time the TV cameras pan to the crowds, you see young cricket fans enjoying the game. Love to see it.

Five singles from Georgia Elwiss' five balls; Spirit can afford to just take the singles now and then punish any bad ball which comes their way. It's their to lose.
