I was too busy admiring Dan Norcross' glasses. Need me a pair of those.

Robin Johnson: Blimey! Tammy Beaumont has a far superior technique than any of Sibley, Burns, Crawley or Lawrence.

Beaumont will come back to the middle after the lunch break alongside her skipper Heather Knight, who is captaining England for the 100th time.
Knight got off the mark today with this sublime drive...

Tammy Beaumont has looked immaculate so far. She's not given away a chance yet - good signs for England.
England's Tammy Beaumont, speaking to Sky Sports: "We didn't want to look at the scorecard too much but we have probably scored more than we hoped at the start of the day. I like to break it down into 15 minute blocks. We have set ourselves a target to make a score in excess of 300. The wicket is dead - quite nice for batting on really."
But the player of the morning session was Tammy Beaumont.
The England opener is unbeaten on 44 from 84 deliveries and has hit four boundaries, including these two crackers...
Winfield-Hill was dismissed for 35, with India owing a great deal of gratitude to the brilliance of wicketkeeper Taniya Bhatia.
And these sizzling sixes...
Winfield-Hill made India pay with these brutal boundaries...
For those of you just joining us, here's a recap of what's happened so far. England won the toss and elected to bat.
There was plenty of swing for the India bowlers but while the bowlers did their part, the fielders didn't as England opener Lauren Winfield-Hill was dropped on three.

Bit of spin there for Deepti Sharma in her one over before lunch - that will excite India but it's been a very good morning for England.
Stunning delivery from Sharma. The India spinner entices Beaumont forward, the ball bounces and turns, through the gap between bat and pad and past the wicketkeeper. Absolute beauty.
And that's lunch.
Off-spinner Deepti Sharma to bowl the last over before the interval. She's a crafty bowler, a wicket would be very much welcomed for India here.

Maz Tucker: I think every womens' series should have a Test match, three ODIs and three T20s.
Goswami looked really threatening first thing this morning but is sending through a few wayward deliveries now. Just the one from it, though.
We'll get one more over in before the lunch break.
Lauren Winfield-Hill was the first English woman to hit a Test six since Laura MacLeod, against India at Grace Road in 2006.
