This is a vital partnership which England need to break.
The fifty partnership comes up for Devine and Satterthwaite. It's been said a lot but these two are so, so crucial for New Zealand. One wicket here changes everything.
Another tidy over from Ecclestone concedes just two.

If these two can stay out there for another 10 overs, New Zealand are definitely in with a shout.
A picture perfect cover drive from Sophie Devine races away to the boundary off Charlie Dean, who just offers a bit of flight. It's timed so well that the fielder on the cover boundary can't even get close.

What makes Sophie Ecclestone great is that she rarely strays with her line. She also has the perfect spinner's action.
Sophie Ecclestone comes on to bowl because England need to break this partnership. She is the one Heather Knight turns to when she needs a wicket, and so often it works.
A predictably solid start, going for just one.
Phil Long
BBC Test Match Special statistician
England were 80-1 after 19 overs, so not a huge difference.

I like that Charlie Dean gives it plenty of flight, lots of opportunity for the ball to turn.
Can anyone match Jack having cricket kit older than Charlie Dean? Maybe some tins of food at the back of the cupboard somewhere?
Meanwhile there's another boundary for Satterthwaite, who is so tall that getting down to sweep is a very long way to go but she connects nicely.

Jack Rule: That means I have cricket kit older than Charlie Dean. Oh god I feel so old now!
Magnificent work from Tammy Beaumont at point, diving full-length to stop a Sophie Devine cut that was destined for four runs. She gets some complimentary high fives from her fellow fielders.

These two batters are key for New Zealand. They can anchor the innings and get the run-rate up.

Satterthwaite 16, Devine 15
Charlie Dean continues.
No real alarms for the batters as they just accumulate, running well between the wickets to take seven from the over.
Kate Cross joined Nat Sciver in the wickets column by taking the wicket of Maddy Green, which left New Zealand reeling at 31-3.

Sophie Devine has absolutely crunched that.
Another thumping shot of authority from Sophie Devine as she pulls Freya Davies away for four. Purely dismissive as the bowler drops too short.
Davies is struggling for consistency here as she follows it up with a wide and - dare I say it? New Zealand are just starting to settle.
Time for a drink.

England have been crying out for a spinner, and Charlie Dean is a genuine spinner. She gets revs on the ball.
A lot is being made on commentary about how Charlie Dean was born in 2000. I suddenly feel quite smug that I was only born four years earlier.
A tidy start from the debutant, but just strays down leg with her final ball that Satterthwaite can tickle away for four runs.
