There's a fine line for New Zealand between wanting to get England all out for less than 200, and going searching for it. They're going aggressive here but Tash Farrant is a capable batter and she will look to score.

  2. Eng 188-9published at 41.1 overs

Lovely shot again from Danni Wyatt.

Lea Tahuhu drops a little bit short and wide and Wyatt crashes the cut shot away for a couple.

This is now a record tenth-wicket stand for England, overtaking Nat Sciver and Alex Hartley against India in Mumbai in 2019.

England will take those runs, no matter how they come. Tash Farrant has a smirk on her face!

  4. Eng 188-9published at 41 overs

Four more! Tash Farrant is looking to defend, but gets a thick outside edge, and it is just out the reach of the diving Katey Martin, and the ball runs fine and away to the boundary.

The partnership is worth 42, and it could yet prove to be match-winning.

  5. 6 runs

    Eng 183-9published at 40.3 overs

Oh, my! England are looking for a finisher, have they found it in Danni Wyatt?

After that glorious driven four, she was ariel, over mid-off and the over the ropes for her second six.

The partnership is up to 37.

This is Danni Wyatt's first ODI fifty in England.

Danni Wyatt is not afraid of this situation and England being nine wickets down. It's been a brilliant innings given the position that England are in.

  8. 50 runs

50 for Wyattpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

What a way to get there!

Danni Wyatt advances down the pitch, and crashes a drive away to the boundary. What a shot.

This is Wyatt's first ODI of the summer, and she is making the most of the opportunity.

  9. Scots bat first at The Grangepublished at 13:52 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Up at the Grange in Edinburgh, a rain shower delayed the toss in today's final men's Twenty20 international between Scotland and Zimbabwe, with the series level at 1-1.

However, the game is set to start on time at 14:00 BST. Scotland won the toss and are batting - you can follow that game via our live scorecard here.

  10. Eng 173-9published at 40 overs

Good running from England, and in particular Danni Wyatt. Tash Farrant cloths a sweep down the leg side, but Katey Martin can't gather cleany and the ball breaks loose and they scamper a single.

There's an appeal for lbw against Farrant to end the over, but the ball was going down the leg side.

Realistically, with 11 overs left to bat, England will want to get to 230. But for these two, their next target should be to just make it to 200 and go from there.

  12. Eng 171-9published at 39 overs

Tash Farrant keeps the strike with a single out to deep cover.

This last wicket stand has added 25 now. Useful.

  13. dropped catch

Farrant dropped on 11published at 38.4 overs

    Just out of reach.

Tash Farrant drives, but it goes up. Maddy Green, who is part of a packed off-side field, just gets her finger tips to it.

    Farrant picks up a couple.

Danni Wyatt just ducked for a ball that went past her at knee-length.

  15. Eng 166-9published at 38 overs

New Zealand want this over. Sophie Devine has called for the experienced Lea Tahuhu, but she can't find a breakthrough. She does add an element of control, though, conceding just three.

She bangs one in to finish, but the ball barely gets up, with Danni Wyatt looking to duck. It went past her, on about seventh-stump line, at about knee height. A bizarre bit of cricket.

  16. Postpublished at 13:42 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

This is Farrant's version of Jack Leach v Ireland at Lord's.

England would love her to get up to 92 now...

Before this innings, Tash Farrant only had one ODI run.

  18. Postpublished at 13:40 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

Here's that mess of a run out from earlier.

Two batters at the same end is never a good look.

  19. Eng 163-9published at 37 overs

After that six Hannah Rowe looks to throw the ball wide, but it is so wide that Danni Wyatt can't get anywhere near it.

A couple of singles follow, and England take nine from the over. That is 17 added from two overs. How invaluable could they prove to be?

  20. Postpublished at 13:38 British Summer Time 19 September 2021

    Alex Hartley

Danni Wyatt knows she needs to be there at the end, but if the ball's in her arc she's still going to go for it.
