Alex... that is not how it works.
England won a World Cup on boundaries. You can't just miss things out.

Thunder, who I play for, finished with a win in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy yesterday.
We got three wins over the tournament, so we are saying we finished joint four because fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh all had 13 points.
If we went off net run-rate we'd be seventh...
Winfield-Hill 17, Knight 18
I think 'brain fart' is my new favourite phrase.
A mixed over from Jess Kerr, who starts with five wides and then has an lbw shout on Heather Knight, but it's too high.
Knight replies with a firm cover drive that nutmegs the fielder at cover. Literally straight through the legs.

It has been a decent start for England, apart from Tammy Beaumont's brain fart.
It has been a positive start, and what is good to see, is that the ball is racing away once it is hit off the square.
England are rebuilding nicely after this absolutely chaotic start to the innings that came in the second over.

A very niche stat for you...
That is the first three of the series.
Winfield-Hill 16, Knight 14
That's a very vague description of the lunches. I'd need to know what the chicken comes with. Is it cod and chips? These are the important subjects, Henry.
Anyway back in the cricket, the batters run a three before Knight nails a pull shot for four as Tahuhu attempts a short ball.

Is Alison around? I've been asked for the ECB what we want for lunch.
Alison, do you want the chicken, the cod or the tofu?
Sorry everyone. I know that should be left for off air, but Alison and I swapped and the ECB need to know asap.
Suzie Bates at cover executes the dive much more effectively, preventing a Knight drive from finding the boundary.

This is one of those were surely the fielder knows? Can't she just tell them?
Hannah Rowe dives full-length Superman-style on the third man boundary to try and prevent a Heather Knight four. It's a stunning effort that requires a lot of replays to determine the outcome.
Eventually, it's given as a boundary.
Winfield-Hill 11, Knight 3
Tahuhu beats Heather Knight with a beauty from her final ball, that slingy action of hers again proving to be a handful.
It's been pretty sedate since the manic second over that saw three boundaries and the wicket of Beaumont.
Lea Tahuhu, who was phenomenal in the first ODI, comes into the attack early as New Zealand strive for a second wicket.

It has been a little bit of a mixed start from New Zealand. Jess Kerr has bowled really tidily, but she just hasn't had the support of the control from Sophie Devine at the other end.
Jess Kerr struggled in the first ODI but she's been much more consistent this morning. She forces Winfield-Hill to chip one in the air that just drops short of the fielder at cover.

That is a beautiful shot from Lauren Winfield-Hill - that will really settle her down. It made a beautiful noise off the bat.
Sophie Devine has just been a little bit too full.
Winfield-Hill 9, Knight 0
Lauren Winfield-Hill, on one run from 15 balls, has enough of blocking and slashes Sophie Devine aerially over cover for her first boundary.
She follows it with a much more classical drive, racing all along the floor to the ropes. That was nailed.

Danni Wyatt and I have been playing cricket together for 20 years now - she is one of my oldest friends and teammates.
It was really nice to be asked to present her 200th cap today, and I just spoke about her journey. She is a unique person, and is a great person to have around. She doesn't take life too seriously, and is always having a joke and laugh.
If you're not having a great time she is one of those people that you go and talk to. She is a great human being.
