  1. NZ 157-4published at 36 overs

Katey Martin has not been shy of playing her shots since she's come in, and this might just be the best of the lot as she reverse paddles Sophie Ecclestone for four. Premeditated but executed to perfection.

A single takes Satterthwaite to two runs short of a 24th ODI half-century.

That's a brilliant shot, Amy Satterthwaite just leaned on it and chipped it perfectly over Heather Knight's head at midwicket.

  3. NZ 150-4published at 35 overs

Oh that's lovely from Satthertwaite! Sciver goes full and slightly on leg stump and the batter just stands and swats it through the leg side for four. Brilliant batting.

A single brings up New Zealand's 150 - they'll be pleased with the way in which they have recovered from 33-3 and 89-4.

The game is just ticking along. New Zealand aren't doing anything expansive but England are struggling to create wicket-taking opportunities.

  6. NZ 141-4published at 34 overs

The tourists seem content in protecting their wicket and not taking any risks, with a few dab and runs to take four singles off Heather Knight.

We're in late September and the sun is beaming in Derby. Love it.

Here was that missed review opportunity earlier. How costly will this be for England?

  8. NZ 137-4published at 33 overs

A change in the bowling as the economical Nat Sciver returns to the attack.

The seamer is on the money with her first couple of deliveries - bowling round the wicket, just back of a length and angling into the off stump.

A wide and a single down to fine leg add two more to the New Zealand total, before Martin hangs back and cuts through point for a single.

As you'd expect, a pretty a tidy over from Sciver.

I know I'm learning lots about vegetables, but I'm still not having it in a cake. I'll go to the ice cream van instead.

    NZ 134-4published at 32 overs

Sattherwaite and Martin have done well to steady the ship since Devine departed and continue to work the ones and twos off Heather Knight.

Five from the over and this partnership is now worth 44.

    Time for drinks.

  14. NZ 129-4published at 31 overs

The England players are vocal in the outfield as Katey Martin dances around her crease, trying to find the gaps.

Martin almost plays on, a late cut just missing off stump, before walking down the wicket and drilling Dean down the ground for four.

Martin is on 21 from 30, with Satterthwaite on 33 from 60.

Lauren Winfield-Hill and Tammy Beaumont are both known for their wicketkeeping abilities, but haven't done it a lot of late.

There are a few good keepers in the women's domestic game at the moment, like Ellie Threlkeld, Nat Wraith, Bess Heath and Carla Rudd. Tammy and Lauren both did a bit of wicketkeeping in The Hundred just to keep it going.

Should England take a reserve wicketkeeper to Australia? Or a [back-up] wicketkeeper from within the squad?

  17. NZ 123-4published at 30 overs

Alex Hartley's cake escapades has had me in tiers of laughter. I know, I know, that's a terrible pun. I should know batter than that... I'll stop now.

Knight continues and it's a much better over - a tight line outside the off stump which concedes just two singles.

A few boundaries in the past couple of overs has just given New Zealand a bit of momentum.

  20. NZ 121-4published at 29 overs

Charlie Dean, sporting some dark shades with a blue rim, bowls a rare loose delivery down the leg side and Martin sweeps for four.

The batter then drills through covers for two more. New Zealand seem so to have upped their intensity ever so slightly.
