I don't think Knight likes this and it is Ecclestone getting too excited.
Lbw review against Sophie Devine. England like it, but umpire Anna Harris says no.
Devine is smiling.
Sophie Devine launches Ecclestone over mid-on for four, not allowing the spinner to settle.
That brings up the fifty partnership for this pair. Did I mention these two are a really important pair for New Zealand?

That was an awfully good start from Charlie Dean. She's been so impressive in this series.
Charlie Dean is on and bowls a very tidy maiden first up. Probing over for the left handed Satterthwaite to survive.
Another impressive start from the young spinner.
Satterthwaite 14, Devine 36
Ecclestone gets through the rest of the over so thankfully, it doesn't seem to be an injury.

She stuck her hand out, trying to get out of the way, and it just hit her fingertips.

It was the toughest chance imaginable. Ecclestone looks in pain here because it was hit so firmly.
Tough chance! Very harsh of me to call this a drop. It's absolutely hammered back at Ecclestone in her follow through who probably only gets a finger on it and that looks really painful.
She lies on the floor in agony, clutching her hand, so what does Freya Davies do? Throws the ball in and hits Ecclestone on the leg. Cricket is fun, isn't it?
Sophie Devine continues with her aggressive approach, pulling Freya Davies to the midwicket boundary as the bowler drops too short.
It's followed by a wide, so it's not quite clicked for Davies today yet.

One wicket to break this partnership and you know full well that New Zealand could go tumbling.
Sophie Devine gets four from a big outside edge off Ecclestone.
Lauren Winfield-Hill is in at slip but it goes so fast I don't think she even sees it, the ball flies straight past her ear before she can even move.
Satterthwaite 11, Devine 25
I appreciate Alex for backing up my confusion about the courgette. I've honestly never heard of putting vegetables in a cake.
Oh, apart from carrot cake. Either way, I'm glad it was nice.
Alex Hartley
England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
Courgette in a cake? I'm not being ungrateful but I would have preferred chocolate cake. No, I'm messing, but I just don't think I've ever eaten a courgette before.
Satterthwaite 11, Devine 22
That six is followed by a perfectly driven four straight down the ground. Expensive over from Sophie Ecclestone.

I feel like Charlotte Dean should have done better there. She wasn't still when the ball was coming to her.

It was high and pretty fast coming out of the sky, and then just dropped sharply.
What a start after drinks!
Slog sweep from Devine, down on one knee and it's going towards Charlie Dean on the boundary ... but her leap only results in parrying it over the ropes.
Can I call that a drop? I don't think so.
Freya Davies again just drifts a bit too straight and gifts the batters a few easy singles on their legs.
England will not want this partnership to settle - get rid of either Devine or Satterthwaite and they'll feel the game's theirs for the taking already.
Time for a drink.
