A remarkable tribute to the great man. I wonder what he makes of it.

England fans Jonny and Andrew from London were disappointed to see that Jimmy Anderson wasn't coming to the Caribbean, so they decided to get these shirts made to honour him.

It’s a very happy St Patrick’s Day from the Barmy Army!
Matt Fisher looks like he'll be next man in. There are worse situations to be waiting for your first bat in a Test. Veerasammy Permaul does return with the threat of Stokes now gone. There's no breakthrough for the spinner on his comeback.
Foakes 10, Woakes 6
Ben Stokes has changed into his training kit and is treating himself to some sort of protein shake on the balcony. It's not just me who finds thinks those things look very unappealing, right?
Alzarri Joseph's turn and walk back to his mark in the middle of the pitch is starting to look like one of a man far older than his 25 years. The Oakeses add six more in this over. This has actually been a pretty sedate session.

Stokes' juices were flowing having smashed Brathwaite for two sixes - the second one was almost a medium pacer from Brathwaite. It seemed like he was beginning to hit everything out of the ground, before mistiming another attempted six.
Foakes 5, Woakes 1
Ben Foakes and Chris Woakes are very capable batters but neither fall into the big-hitting category. This could be a period of accumulation before tea.

Ben Stokes lifted the tempo well today. 500 would not be a ridiculous target for England.
I know Ben Stokes is good but it surprised me a little to see him so high up that list. He could well top it by the end of his career.
Ben Foakes is off the mark with a cut to the fence.
No sign of a declaration, if you were wondering. Chris Woakes is the last of the rhyming trio to come to the crease, joining Ben Foakes.
There's just Matt Fisher, Jack Leach and Saqib Mahmood to come.

A couple of blows but Kraigg Brathwaite will accept a couple of sixes for the wicket of Ben Stokes. West Indies have stuck to their task admirably after lunch.
Stokes c Brooks b Brathwaite 120 (Eng 424-6)
Ah. And there ends the Ben Stokes fun.
He had clearly decided to hit anything that came from part-spinner Kraigg Brathwaite but finally miscues. Shamarh Brooks takes the catch at long-on.
Stokes leaves the field with 120 to his name from 128 balls. Brilliant.
And again!
This was almost caught but John Campbell steps on the boundary rope before spilling the ball.
Yep, you guessed it. I'm pretty sure Ben Stokes has just cleared the stand!
We are going to have some spin as Kraigg Brathwaite brings himself on. Watch out in the crowd.

Dr James Pope: What I have always appreciated most about Ben Stokes is that he does the team job first. Need to dig in? He does. Need acceleration? He does. Batting, bowling, fielding; he epitomises the team player.
