    I don't think there was any dismissal today that couldn't have been avoided. There wasn't one jaffa.

    It is just the pressure. The England side can't seem to mentally be able to cope with the pressure.

    Leo: This England team needs more character and confidence so it doesn’t crack under pressure every time a punch is thrown. If you look at the 2011 side that won the ashes down under the players in that squad would not give up whereas this team seems to.

    The first few dismissals were batter aided.

    Jonny Bairstow's dismissal was the first ball he'd faced round the wicket. Generally you would just say have a bit of a look. A lot of the time it's just a lack of clarity and they get a split second decision wrong.

    Test cricket is about being constantly asked, checked and it is about whether you have the answers.

    Everything is about discipline and making strong, disciplined cricket for long period of times and England just haven't been able to do that for a good period of time now.

    England batting coach Marcus Trescothick, speaking to BT Sport at stumps, said: "Disappointed and gutted. They got more runs than we wanted and we lost too many wickets this afternoon.

    "I think the boys are fairly honest about what they have done. In the critical moments in the game we haven't got it right, We can only put our hands admit that and be better.

    "Today has not been right but a lot of what we have done has been good for the team and some great performances. Let's not judge it just on today. We had two great Test matches.

    "I'll speak with the batters individually, how the tour has gone from them. We will address things, and try to be better. We had two good Test matches. Don't judge the whole series on one day."

    Kyle Mayers was fantastic - he was just getting enough of the surface. It was line and length - that was just it.

    The lack of resistance in this England team in non-existent. There's no fight, no togetherness - there's no spirit in this England team. You don't gift the opposition an easy win. This West Indies team are just OK and to see this England team just capitulate with no spirit or fight - there are big questions to ask.

    Before all the screaming starts, this, insultingly for WI, was a fact finding tour. Findings - Woakes is a fantastic home cricketer and a squad away cricketer, Mahmood is with sticking with, Lees has temperament and he will pair with Sibley in time, Root to be a batter/spinner only, stick with Foakes, Bairstow is a test player, need to find a quality spinner and it may be Leach. Finally - this isn't the eighties where overweight bowlers carry on too long. Broad and Anderson are athletes and should play until their form says otherwise, then replace them. Don't drop them for bowlers of less ability because past stats dictate they are not up to it. Well done to the ECB for this new approach. Now act on it!
